Mine has just gone off and I don’t know if functions on a battery or not? It’s been running for 6 years with no issues. How do we change the battery?

Who makes Center thermostats? Mine comes on at 1200 midday and stays on. It is set to come on at 1200 and off at 1200 but it just stays on. I have tried off at 1210 but it still strays on. At lease 6 different plumbers and electricians have had a look and no one can stop it coming on.

How can you change the time as mine is out by 2 and a half hours ?

How do u change the battery

I was told to look on utube to learn how to use this clock which is, pretty bad!! EON!! This video is helpful but the clock itself isnt simple to use. Small buttons & writing or dark making things difficult for the visually impaired 😮.

Just a quick ask before I look through all the comments.... just exchanged no a house with the control panel apparently linked to a Baxi boiler. When I click the Manual button which switches the boiler to constantly on, nothing happens The only thing that looks suspect is the flashing battery icon in the top left corner of the display.... any thoughts anyone?

I’m a bit confused by this. In my dad’s house, when I manually adjust the thermostat to 24 degrees Celsius, it only increases very slowly from 15 degrees, reaching about 16.5 degrees, but never the 24 degrees I set. Why is this happening? Why doesn’t it just increase to 24 degrees to better heat the home? I’m wondering if I’m misinterpreting the situation because it could be warmer in my dad’s house. Sometimes, the temperature just stays around 15-15.5 degrees, which isn’t very warm. I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong or misunderstanding the situation. Does anyone have any advice?

Thank you for the explanation, this was useful. However, why did the engineers develop a battery controlled timer that when the batteries die the whole darn heating system ceases to function? Infuriating and very unpractical.

How do you change the battery

My IQ is 152 but I still can't get my heating on.

There is the problem, between 4 intervals of the day for example you set 6:30 which means morning to 18c, after 6:30 like on 8:30 morning or even 9:00am morning it will again jump to 21 why is that so????

My gauge is on the front of the boiler not underneath. Another video on here mentioned anything between 1 & 2 bar is ok. Maybe a slightly newer boiler I have? Installed 2019 and my bills plummeted by 2/3rds back before Utility firms got mega greedy.
