Geiles Auto, gutes Video für alle, die mal die 993 Experience wollen, aber keinen haben ... Aber wie das Lenkrad gehalten wird ist wirklich schwer zu ertragen fast durch das komplette Video. Man würde meinen, wer es bis zum 993 Turbo geschafft hat, hat unterwegs gelernt, wie man ein Lenkrad ordentlich hält. Offensichtlich nicht.

Nice to have a road to legally do this speed! I built a Cobra replica and used a 302 cu in Ford Windsor with 5 speed Borg-Warner transmission and one night I took it up to it's top speed on the freeway, hitting 147 mph or 236 kph. I had a high final drive ratio which gave 50 kph per 1000rpm in 5th gear, so that was at only 4700 rpm Had to work out that speed by calculation (tyre size/gear ratio/final drive etc) as the speedometer went only to 140 mph. But at that speed one could literally feel the aerodynamic resistance preventing the engine from building any more revs!

Wow, fantastisch! Eine solche Leistungsentfaltung schon in den50ern. Fast identische Daten mit dem heutigen Peugeot 206 cc Cabrio. Leistung, PS , Drehzahl, Geschwindigkeit, Gewicht, fast gleich. . Aber damals sicher kein Hausfrauenauto, wie man im Video sieht. Im Gegensatz zum 206 cc , der wohl kaum über 2000/Umin heute gefahren wird...

Suspect ... Only 29 Semi Competition (SC) Cobra's were ever built, and almost all of them were powered by 428 engines. Ford had allocated its production of 427's to other projects and Carroll had to elect the 428. This of course upset many of the owners who had bought the SC's.

A few observations. What a lovely car, I have dreamed of one since childhood having had a toy 350 GT. Now for the famous German Autobahn. It is fascinating seeing this highway from the drivers point of view. I'm a little surprised that this highway is not quite up to our new 100 series highways in Nova Scotia, Canada. We have mostly very wide grass and gravel medians. Only a few places see the highway separated by guard rail. Obviously our new highway is newer dating from the 1980's to the present time. It would be wonderful to drive the Autobahn however our highways in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick are getting better all the time. Hopefully this will make our visitors feel truly at home. :)

Lovely car, awful hand placement whilst driving and steering.Guessing from where your knees are, and outstretched arms, needs a steering wheel boss to bring the wheel closer to you.

Very nice, but would have been better if you had had the camera in a lower down position so we can see both the inside of the vehicle and the road ahead.

I didn't even know this came with a PDK option
