They were still working on it over a year ago. It hadn't been 100% decompiled until the 23rd of this month.

@@oglostingaming Well if you read the other comment that NanoNutrino wrote, a pc port was made months ago before it was fully decompiled because it was so similar to Ocarina of Time. If you actually check out ZeldaRET's website you can see it for yourself.

If you like the game that’s your prerogative. I agree with you on that. If it was the same game but with different characters, I believe it would have been received differently. As a Banjo-Kazooie game though that was a terrible direction to go in. Especially to long time fans of the franchise. They made Banjo fat, Kazooie looks like a different bird, and designed all the other characters in a weird looking way. If you liked the game, by all means keep enjoying it. I'm not trying to take that away from you. I personally wasn’t happy with the direction they decided to go in so wasn’t even going to give it a try.

Yeah I'm gonna be checking out the demo when I get the chance for sure, and if it carries over from there I'll probably get stuck on it for a bit.

I was able to see a few stills of the game and I'm really digging it so far. I like the art style and look of how it plays.

And if the game is free or not also plays a role since why play a game that's just overwatch 2 but $60

@SupraLife420 How would they possibly mess up a remake of most wanted? This ain't even fucking star wars at all. Cash grab is literally Hot Pursuit 2010 remaster of the same game with just multiplayer re-activated again to play online. Most wanted is a completely stand-alone game that has no multiplayer at all.

Tend to have recording issues if the video I'm watching is too big. It starts to lag while playing. That plus I wanted to give people a reason to go watch the video from the actual creator but will do my best to make that happen for next time. Appreciate the feedback.

I respect that. I've been watching this person make videos on remaking this game for years now so the look of it when they first started vs how it looks now is a significant improvment. It's been enjoyable to watch. Especially with how well it looks now IMO. I've seen that work as well and feel that looks amazing too. I just love being able to see a game I love and appreciate so much get different amounts of care in so many unique ways. Yeah I had realize that after recording the video. It was too late at that point to go back and fix it.

I agree, I'm not much of a fan either and for the reason you said. Mostly every asset in this project isn't actually done by the creator. It's been a while so I think they give credit at least? But yeah there's not a lot actually done by the creator themselves, and they have a patreon...

@@AquaMoonRain making this kind of thing connected to patreon gives it an extra bad taste. If fangames are related to money in any way, its just difficult. As you said, not every asset seems to be made by that person and still having a patreon is bonkers.

@@Harmonic411 Yeah it's unfortunate. I remember seeing some other game devs/programmers talk about and play one of the demos before and they were just... ripping it apart. I have checked out the creators actual patreon/videos and they do make some stuff decently well mind you but they seem pretty ok with taking shortcuts and using other's assets.

My only thing with that is if Nintendo still plans to produce more of the Switch after the release of the Switch 2 or are they gonna stop production all together. Because if they don't and keep making more then most likely Nintendo will be able to take that title from Sony.

Yeah seeing all these comments and thinking about the game has me really feeling like I need to go back and give it another playthrough. Worried with how much time it'll take me with everything else I have going on right now though. 😩

Yeah I've heard great things about that game. From what people have told me it seems like it's harder than the Dark Souls games as well which really has me excited to play but worried with how much time I'll be putting into it.

Yeah with how big the market is for consols I would be surprised if it does outsell it but even if it makes a dent close to it I would be satisfied. Feel like the game was good and deserves the love.

It's on my list of games to play for sure! Heard so many great things about it so just have to get it and set some time aside from my busy scheduel to play whenever I can.

I'm currently playing it and it doesn't feel that different from elden ring and agree it probably doesn't need a remaster. Never played bloodborne but might try it after ive done ds1 & ds2

@@johnirving3084 Aw man. Bloodborne is Fromsofts best game imo. Definitely recommend. Ds1 is great too. Got me into these games and will never forget my first playthrough.

God no. Bloodborne doesn't need a remaster either. Just a pc version and a ps5 patch. Otherwise they would charge you for the same game with better resolution and fps, like theyre doing here

If that's the case they need to stop messing around and make it happen. Especially if they've already did so with the first two games.

I have to disagree on that. Sales/player numbers do count otherwise Ubisofts stock price wouldn't be sitting currently at $2.57. Yes, gameplay does matter which is why they should have held off on releasing it when they knew it was still filled with so many bugs and glitches. Many gaming companies now (Especially Ubisoft) have this notion that they can release an unfinished or buggy game and just patch it up later rather than releasing an actual finished product. I will diss Ubisoft all day because as a company they've shown us these types of problems multiple times. This isn't a new thing with them. Especially from this year alone! As far as their developers go, they should be able to see who the good developers are versus the bad ones and act accordingly. Keep those that know what they’re doing and make a good product and remove those that aren’t making something up to the standard. Not moving them from one title to another. Because if they're showing aren't doing their job well on one project what makes you think they will do it on another. I had seen both consol players and PC players dealing with bugs and glitches when the game was released. Might have been worse for PC players but consol players had to deal with it as well. Again, if the game was filled with as many bugs and glitches as it had when released they should have focused on taking care of that before releasing something that would leave players dissatisfied. Make sure the game is complete and devs wouldn't have to worry about as much feedback for them to respond to, and the fact that the devs had to fix so many bugs and glitches to make the game 'Playable" as you put it is a big issue. Again, especially with Ubisoft. If the game felt complete the price wouldn't be as much of an issue as it is now. The gameplay wasn't the only issue I heard was a problem. The story and direction taken was another. I personally don’t mind that park place. They may be a little blunt at times, but they are willing to tell it like it is from what I've read so far. Whereas other websites will either not mention something at all or play the side that goes against what players believe or want. It seems like a lot of them are in it for themselves more so than speaking for the customer base which is the gamers. I had seen players talking about wanting a Han Solo game in this style more so than a random character that feels like they tried to make seem like Han solo. I don’t agree with that last part either. Game developers don't make a AAA game with a budged of $200 to $300 million dollars and four years of development for it to be 'Just a test' and not even a contender for GOTY. If that's how they’re treating a franchise like Star Wars maybe they shouldn't be in charge of it at all.

@Harmonic411 diss Ubisoft all you want to, they'll just ignore you and move on. Only they worry about their current status on managing finances, greenlighting what projects could potentially give them leverage and attempting only what works and what doesn't (you try becoming a game developer, its never that easy or simple, especially by yourself). The story is fine, I'd rather not have it be too complex or else players will start to get far too confused like Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy based stories. Make it understandable at the very least and work from its start to the end. Just like Fallout 76, that game suffered from launch because the devs on that game already set everything in place (even player testing beforehand), what is not predictable is how the servers and game quality will turn out once the game launches, no one will ever know fully if it will function or have some bug fixes. Not every single game is squeaky clean from glitches and bugs at first launch. That's why the devs are there standing by to file out player complaints and feedback so on the next update/patch, they can respond accordingly. Same went for Outlaws. Glad the devs didn't ditch the game after console release, so now the same cycle should happen for PC (Ubisoft better have a team for PC, otherwise its either in good hands or left without them) just the players need to send their requests and they'll answer. The protagonist is fine being a whole new character. If it were Han Solo, there's already a ton of established lore for him, so having to structure in game lines and his long appearance in the game would be a lot of work and it would have to make sense along with what's been told in the book novels, movies and comics, otherwise there'd be plot holes, retcons and unexpected encounters/events because there may have been prior information or activities that the said character has already faced, but hasn't been mentioned properly from the said media directly into the game. Therefore its easier with a brand new character because you can build their experiences and not run into any lore trouble going forward. Players who'd rather would not want to be a Jedi nor wield a lightsaber would enjoy this game (other than maybe KOTOR, the Battlefront or the Starfighter games). This game was not intended to be for every Star Wars fan, only for the majority that want something different and something else to experience. In which Ubisoft did just that (the haters can go leave or hide in a rock hole). Finally as I meant in "first-step", it was a learning experience for the devs so that later on in the future, there could possibly be a better game made with a much larger world and more activities to do (along with PCs and consoles being able to handle either a large game with a condensed game size and/or faster hardware/software capabilities). Not everything is perfect, don't always go for high expectations for everything imaginable, because afterwards there's either the workaround fix or just the left for nothing option.

I honestly couldn't tell you unfortunately. After Frostline was updated to the game they removed A LOT of servers. Many of which were in my favorites that weren't there anymore or were just the servers code without being able to log into them. Feel like it kind of ruined the game honestly.

I'm pretty sure I was just free roaming the map at the time.
