This is bad and smells like Leveon Bell. He told the Jets before they traded for him that he wouldn't seek a new contract this year. Now that the Jets are out of options at DE, he's squeezing them. It's a horrible introduction to a new team. Like Bell skipping the new uniform show. Not important to you, but considering what Bell did in Pittsburgh, it was a bad portent. The rest is history. Like Pittsburgh, a smart organization like Philly knew what they were getting rid of. And they signed a younger Huff for the same money Reddick is making.

Great show fellas! Really refreshing to hear someone actually honest about this franchise. So many "jets fans" these days are really just fans of entertaining content so they refuse to hear anything but positive takes and then wonder why we're always disappointed in November. If all fans were like you two Woody might have to actually care about this team to save face instead of banking on content junkies who will rationalize anything this organization does. Way to keep it 💯

Braellon Allen will be a good RB2 esp for short yds. Travis will be a good backup qb when healed. Stiggers has a lot of dog in him and might be a surprise. Corbin should be tough in the slot.i thought it was a good draft considering no 2nd rnd. The move back in 1st rnd and still getting their guy was great. And it got them Braelon Allen.

Great episode! I've been a Jets fan since the Richard Todd days of the late 70's. I was maybe 10 yrs old and had started getting into sports and watching NFL. My family was living in Pennsylvania at the time, but for the early part of my life we lived on Long Island. All my friends were Eagles or Steelers fans, but I felt a connection to NY and for some reason the Jets of that era captured my imagination and the rest has been an insufferable history lol! Not all bad, I guess. I remember the playoff years and hope we can get back to that soon. J-E-T-S!!

Great perspective on the Jets and former Jets players. As a fan, I go back much further to the 1963 NY Titans and the old AFL. I cannot describe the excitement when Joe Namath signed with the Jets. The term "gamechanger" is thrown around too often, but Joe Namath was a true gamechanger. Some of my favorites during my fan days include Joe Namath, Don Maynard, Gerry Philbin, Joe Klecko, Mark Gastineau, Wesley Walker, Wayne Chrebet, Nick Mangold, D'Brickashaw Ferguson and Brandon Marshall.

Cohen relied more on quickness and shiftiness then pure speed. He’s decently fast but it’s more his stop and go , his quick cuts and his ability to go from 0-60 quickly. But he never really was a burner that’s kinda a misconception. Wish him well , with the Jets or somewhere in football.

I think u overestimate CB backups. The step down to Echols and Stiggers is drastic. If Echils doesn't play better this year the Jets might just offer him league min 50K gar contract next year. And Stiggers is 1yr CFL 5th rnd draft reach. I would have to put Sauce as indispensable because backups are not in same stratus.

So many roster decision OL mistakes last year. Not figuring out Becton was terrible in preseason. Relying on 38yr old Duane Brown who was coming off shoulder surgery, Mitchell at Tackle. Wilson and Boyle as backups to Rogers. Drafting Fashanu was smart. Taylor is good backup QB. So looks like lessons were learned.

The real story of OTAs is Taylor, Travis, Corley, Allen, Abanikonda and Fashanu.

The Bills are weaker but dangerous so long as we run the ball 40% and double Keon. The Jets will destroy them in the 3rd quarter. Miami is also retooling but they suck in the cold and don’t want to re-sign Tua. At worst we split with them. We will win the division with a 12-5 or better record.
