OZZY’S EVENTING THIS WEEKEND - BUT NOT WITH ME!
A very short & sweet video to update you guys after my fall last weekend out eventing - if you haven’t watched the vlog already have a little look at it to catch you up!
Since filming this I’ve managed to get an appointment to the sports injury clinic at my local hospital on Tuesday so hopefully I’ll have more of an idea on what I’ve done to my knee then - I’m keeping everything crossed it’s nothing serious! I’d like to be back in the saddle ASAP
For anyone else with an injury at the moment I feel you! And pray for a quick recovery for us all ❤️

I decided to give it another go & apply for this years Mochara Allstar Academy! I’m so proud of the journey we’ve been on & everything we’ve achieved & I’d love to share that with everyone and keep developing our partnership. We did it! Our first BE 💙 and what a day it was! I don’t think I’ve ever been so nervous but I had no need to be, Ozzy was amazing & made everything feel so easy. Welcome to our first vlog! It’s simple but I hope you enjoy watching ☺️ this blog is of our lesson with Lucinda Green focussing on riding with more precision & rhythm on the XC course. Hey you are quite right. An unexpected fall does knock you back when you can’t just get back on and immediately go at the fence again. That is just totally natural. And I can’t think of a more gutsy person to help you with that other than Lucinda. When you go to her, initially you kind of have to just disengage your thinking brain and tune into her voice and literally do exactly as she says and Bob’s your Uncle you’ll realise you’ve jumped a whole course without realising it. Chins up now. Lots of Arnica on your leg ok. Stay positive ❤. You have a wonderful big horse waiting for you 😃

Ellie seems like a lovely person. First saw her on Horse and Country TV when she was a toddler. Recently saw her on Elphick Event Ponies jumping Meg's pony Bear. Edited to add not boring. Cheering you on from Australia 🌏🦘🪃🐨. Onwards and upwards from here. Things will work out. Knees do get better.

Don't discount your mistakes, oops and such. We all make them and it's OK when they occur as long as we use them as a learning experience and motivator to put in the necessary work to fix our issues and prevent recurrences down the road. Great job overall!!

Thank you for taking us with you. What a beautiful horse. You just need to get your lower leg sorted out. Way too much movement (mainly backward with toe down) and you need your feet either below your hip or in front of your hip to be both effective and stop you flying out the front door. But very well done. 🎉
