BP training at Wild Geese Group for OPITO Control Room Operator Emergency Response
BP attended the OPITO Control Room Operator Emergency Response on the 31st May for a two day assessment program at Wild Geese Group. In order to conduct each assessment scenario we perform a team briefing and set-up the scenario conditions. We conduct the scenario using the TVCC simulator controlled by a scenario manager played by Mike Herrmann and assessed by Jude Sta Maria. The scenario manager is assisted by a number of Wild Geese Group role players. After completing a scenario, we debrief the learner on the outcome of his assessment.
This example is for illustrative purposes for a scenario involving gas and explosion. The learner is unaware of the scenario they will be facing before its commencement and we assess along the criteria of the CRO ER course.
