Gespräch mit Sarah Christian zu Mozarts 3. Violinkonzert.
Lindo! Lindo! Parabéns! ❤️
Magistrala interpretare!
The great Beethoven bores us again. Chamber music was not his forte.
39:15 Violin cadenza - a phrase from Beethoven's op.61 🙂
best version I've ever heard ! I'm in tears
Muchas gracias. Hermosísima
You can tell that these players are having a lot of enjoyment in playing together. The synergy is remarkable.
Thank you, that indeed is true, we were enjoying this opportunity to play a lot!
İnşallah kusarsın Beril

Stunningly beautiful. Thank you
Thank you.
Complimenti! Grazie!

Beautiful music beautifully played in a beautiful setting. It doesn’t get much better. They are all excellent musicians but that violinist is quite superb.
Thank you, yes indeed, he is!

04/24/24: Absolutely splendid. Thank you!
Thank you!
Delightful. Hervorragend. Beethoven's magic fills the air. (BTW, the camera work is excellent.) Those who interrupt such sublime music with ads should be taken out and ... spanked!
Thank you!
Camera work: I quite agree. How rare!
Bitte schön.
Una obra inmortal de un genio inmortal. En una grabació impecable y preciosista
Muchas gracias!
Thoroughly enjoyable!
Thank you!
Beautifully done. Hard to believe that Beethoven actually considered this his worst piece. (That would be Wellington’s Victory.) Wunderbar.
It was only in the end of his life that Beethoven was annoyed by the success of his piece and talked rather contemptuous about it. At the beginning he was quite proud of it.
Didn't hate it enough -- published a version for piano trio. (Op. 38)
He had every reason to be proud, it’s an amazing piece. I love how German it sounds.
Is there anything extant that Beethoven created that one would would ever classify as “his worst”? In my estimation, the whole concept is wrong-headed. What I have determined in my years of experiencing Beethoven, in recordings, in live performances, in televised concerts, in solo recitals, including mine and those of far more accomplished professionals, among other opportunities I have had to experience the mind and heart of this genius, that there is no such thing as a “worst” composition of The master Ludwig van Beethoven. I do not claim a scholar’s knowledge of the entire body of this musical legacy, but the chamber music, the concerti, the piano and violin sonatas, the symphonies, his one opera in its many variations, and no doubt more, are such a delight and in their variety, so beautiful. If I had to claim my current two favorite works, one would be a late piano sonata, known as the “Hammerklavier,” and a late string quartet movement we now call the “Grosse Fuga.” Both are astonishing in their complexity and their chromaticism. In the great fugue, the tonalities explored in the movement presage sounds more commonly heard from 20th century musicians. Both works conclude with triumphal resolution that can only be described as the sound of pure joy and triumph of the human spirit. This septette seems to have much of the same spirit about it. This work at times has an orchestral quality except with individual instruments carrying the lyric line instead of entire sections performing the function. As such, one could perhaps think of this composition as an assemblage of concerti featuring miniature solo performances by each of the seven musicians. It could well be that all of Beethoven’s chamber works can all be thought of in this manner, but it does seem to me that this less than usual assemblage of virtuoso performers on the range of both wind and stringed instruments gives listeners the opportunity to enjoy concerto style solo performances by each musician functioning as soloists and with the ensemble as a whole playing a work that epitomizes true classical era music.
Miss Aust's clarinet playing is sublime, and that of her colleagues is similarly irresistible.
Her clarinet is indeed sublime. de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bettina_Aust
Thank you for your kind words.
Gute Musik wunderbar aufgeführt, was will man mehr. Bravo.

Спасибо за добрые слова!
I find clarinetist’s dancing around so much quite distracting
@camilorojas 1744 Then close your eyes! Her movements reveal the way in which she 'feels' the phrase she's playing, and how it fits into the ensemble. I find that enlightening, and my experience is always enriched by it. Musicians are not automatons.
She is not dancing around. She moves her body to get the best of the music expressed, bringing out a melodic line, a legato, a rising melodic line, and so forth. I find her playing particularly affecting and her movements, it seems to me, are an integral component of the melodic, emotional aspects of the clarinet part of this septette. Amazing work, so expertly played.
Just think about you and your rubber friend in the bathroom, and your will understand...
I find your comment very offensive, get a life listen to music and let others play in the style they prefer…. Criticona 😡
Music 10/10. Video 0/10.
😂
Maravilha esta execução! Parabéns!
Obrigado!
What a good -humoured piece of music !
So schön, dass ich die Realität vergessen habe! Herzlichen Dank!
Vielen Dank für die lobenden Worte!
For several months in the middle of the pandemic, music preformances seemed perpetually presented via cell phone video. So happy to see high-definition video and sound recorded my an engineer. with real mcrophones. Bravo.
Thank for your kind words, we'd already seen so many low quality videos (technically wise) at that point that we wanted to make a difference. Glad to hear you like it.
Why are the cameras constantly changing focus? There are only 7 players - they are all involved in the music. Keep the camera on the ensemble. All these moving images are distracting from the music.
As you may have noticed the production was filmed in early 2021 when no concerts with public were aloud in Germany and the musicians on stage had to keep a distance from each other. Our approach was not to focus on that and to make the best of it, to show the viewer/listener a perspective he would never have had in a concert hall, to follow the melody jumping from one instrument to the other rather than showing to much of the akward distance between the musicians on stage.
That is the taste of the camera director.
Why is it that musicians wear black?
We don't really know, but we rather like the idea of dressing in a festive way that doesn't distract from the music and so we agreed on black.
An amazing a collaborative group of professional musicians working in tandem to perform a wonderful music as a unified entity and thus rendering honor to Ludwig Van Beethoven. They are blessed in the Lord.
Thank you very much for your kind words!
Das Ensemble passt in ALLEN seinen Teilen zueinander. Das ist nicht immer so. Glückwunsch. Bravo. Eine sehr schöne Einspielung.
Vielen Dank für das Kompliment, über das wir uns sehr freuen!
Excellent,in fact exceptional,I have only listened to a bit of chamber music specifically for small groups of instruments, and this recording is just breathtaking, well done to everyone taking part in this.❤❤
@@davidgiles9802 Thank you so much!
Bettina Aust is a pleasure to hear. Extroverted, courageous playing.
Thank you, we will pass it on to her.
Soo glad the kept distance, otherwise they would have all been infected and dead by now.
😉The rules were not made by us, we were all happy to be able to play at all back then.
