So I have over 90 hours in Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Main mission wise I only have the "Clues and Riddles" mission to complete but damnit Ubisoft you have shipped a game with one hell of a gamebreaking bug. It worked! At first it only showed 1/3 of the screen and I was worried for a bit, but after I reset my Steam Deck and changed the Proton it worked perfectly. Thank you so much.
Oh yo. I used the controller layout you did and it wont work for me? Try to press the A or B button and nothing happens. Do you know how to fix it

The file structure should be similar to windows. So find the folder and place it in there?
Do you know how to get mods running?
I haven't looked into any mods. What ones would you recommend?

Hi sir, its me again months after getting a steam deck. So i use the same controller "gamepad with joystick" but for some reason it no longers with P06, nor does my PS5 controller. Do you perhaps have any solutions?
Are you aware of assigning controllers to P1 and P2? You access this menu by pressing the "..." button. That is the only thing I can think of. For some games I press the steam button, open and close that menu and the controller works!
Does it matter what proton I use?
Use whichever one works for you. Experimental is always a good start.

just a heads up, you can only play individual stages from sonic, shadow, and silver with P06, and ive gotten consistent 60fps on regular sonic 06 with xenia launcher with minimal setup on SD Oled. also way shorter load times than i remember from when i was a kid

What's the best setting's for battery life on this game, been playing for like 3 months now and haven't even once thought to look at the settings..this game makes the deck run!! I hear that fan going crazy.

For some reason it won't play audio (EDIT) got it working with an older proton build but i had to rebind the controls to be read as keys,but hey it works now

It’s a fan made game so I doubt it. I’d message the creator and see what they say.

How do I get rid of the static background when I boot up the game
It should be the intro movie but I believe this is because it is trying to run the video file but unable because of the proton layer/file path. If you can find a way please share!

I'm not too sure. When the latest update is released backup your save data, transfer it over and let us know!

How to I make it full screen I only have a middle section of the screen

I believe this is the case with everytime I have done it too. If you're able to get it too work please let me know!
@@craigbandicootcertain versions of proton work differently with the game, ive personally found it easiest to mess around with them until it works properly

Is there any way to fix the overheating issue? I seem to only have this problem when playing Project 06.
I've never heard of overheating! Perhaps reducing to 30 FPS?

Might be a dumb question, but do I need to download sonic, shadows and silvers episode for sonic p06 to work?
Not a dumb question! With every update a hedgehog is added, so when you download the recent version it will have all the previous content included.

I followed this guide and the game does run but it’s in a very tiny box centered in the steam deck it’s not full screen and most of the game is out of view. Any idea how to make it full screen?
Sounds like it could be the resolution? Are you able to navigate to the settings in game and change it at all?

This is a fan made game, the trials are available at the moment with the hope the full game will be available soon!

So I've followed this guide closely. I'm installing the silver release. However no selectable version of Proton is launching this game. What am I supposed to do?

How did you get this working? What proton version did u pick? Everytime I click play nothing launches
@@captaincz5763 I use the latest version of Proton GE (Like 8.5 I think?). I noticed it worked with others like Experimental. What I did was I downloaded a different link and it worked fine. The mirror one was the one that didn't work, and the google drive one did work. This was on the Silver release video and not the Shadow release
@@Ragiroth ok, I've installed proton GE now but the only issue is that the damn drive version doesn't pop up. The media fire one is the one I downloaded first but even that's not working
@@captaincz5763 Weird. It let's me download it. It says it can't preview it, I click download, then it says "Google drive can't scan for viruses" and I click "download anyway"
As of the latest update "silver " the game still boots at least for me

Hey I’m stuck as I can’t click on the compatibility and won’t give me the option any work arounds
When I added the exe it had some weird stuff instead of spaces in the paths so I had to manually remove those (%20)
