I recently used Lufthansa Business Class on an A340-600 from Frankfurt to Seattle and made content about it, too! I think the hard products are almost the same, but mine was not in good condition. Great video! I enjoy seeing your content. 🎉
Thanks! I checked out your video, it was great, looks like our experience was similar. The A340 is the last quad engined plane I’ve yet to fly. Hopefully I’ll do it soon and hopefully in first class out of Frankfurt
Missing a yellow toy duck 😊
My family and I travel on United Polaris 8 to 9 times a year. We are used to Polaris and are familiar with what to eat and what not to eat. The noodles, I would of advised you not to order. The food is got better. In August we flew on Tgai airway business class and the food was better but it took for ever for meal service to start and end. I prefer my entire meal to be on one tray. Thai airway FA walked thru the gallery and checked on us more often than United FA but when we took United Polaris to Tokyo in August the FA were on point
Yes, the noodles were truly atrocious. I think the catering depends a lot on the departure airport. EWR is probably the worst, but I have seen better catering on United from some EU airports like Munich and Zurich. Thanks for watching!
Very enjoyable video. I flew Polaris 5 times this year and 4 of them were in the aisle window seats. Despite what it looks like when you walk past it, it actually still offers surprisingly good privacy. The divider is enough for you to not be able to see anyone at all. All 4 flights had a window directly in the gap (and honestly I feel like it’s a good design in that the airline can cram more seats in yet still give everyone a window). I think the seat map might be slightly inaccurate, since the layout almost always guarantees 2/3 windows for the window-window seat., and then at least more than half a window for the aisle-window seat. Bedding is absolutely amazing and I think their catering is starting to improve. I’ve had a few meals that weren’t that bad. Sure, it probably wouldn’t compete with Q-suite with the service and catering, but I still think it’s an amazing product.
Thanks! I’ve sat in the aisle-window seat too, and while it’s private, I still feel a bit on display when people walk by. The odd-numbered seats are the better ones, so if you’re booking a pricy last minute ticket, you might get stuck with the worse seat. I agree this layout lets United squeeze in more seats, and we’ll probably see more of it on other airlines in the future. If United just fixed their food, I would have nothing to complain about. Until then, when it comes to Star Alliance, I think it's best to fly on a redeye from North America to Europe with United, and come back with Swiss, whose catering is great, or Lufthansa who has the coolest planes(A340s, A380s, 747s). Anyway, thanks again for watching!
Great review! I love how you insert humour into your videos...well done!
Appreciate it, thank you!
Enjoyable video. Nice work! You could definitely work on your French language pronunciation! "A la cart-ay?" "Rata-tooly?" But that's being nitpicky... you put a lot of work into this, and United's business class has certainly improved since I last used it. Looking forward to checking out your next trips!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! And thank you for the feedback! I definitely need to work on my pronunciation(especially if I want to be a snob) and voice recordings overall. I enjoy the writing process, creating animations, and video editing the most, so I tend to focus more on those, which I think causes the audio to suffer.
No service quality. If the business class farecheap go for it though it is economy class of most airlines. Unfortunately as Germany Lufhansa discipline is detoriated unrecognizable. Frankfurt airport is a mess. Observe trabsir security line it is like Africa. LH employees is different story in FRA. I stead of representing German culture and discipline they r representing their own culture to the customers. Very sad for LH and Germany

Sorry but I can’t respect this degree of snobbery from someone who can’t even pronounce “à la carte.” It’s French! The e is silent, even in English Also, soba noodles are supposed to be cold
@@markcorneliuslau your very disrespectful. The guy is not a native English speaker. He moved from the middle east as a teenager, his English is good . I think you're just a bitter person.
Does everyone hate Air Canada? Also, you're funny. :)
Thanks! I like them when my flight is on time.
Great video thank you. New sub here 😊. It’s ironic you mention service and soft product as US airline Flight attendants are always harping on about how they are there primarily for our safety and nothing else..so I don’t understand the conflict when videos praise Singapore or Etihad for soft product compared to the crap any us carrier puts out?
Thanks! I think the difference in service mostly comes down to cultural differences in how service and service jobs are perceived in each region.
I like United more than Air Canada 🇨🇦. It's my go to carrier
I’ve only flown on Air Canada on two segments (I fly back on them in a couple days) and so far, I agree. But the Air Canada trip is putting me over the threshold for status on United for half the price it would be on United
@@markcorneliuslau I guess your not Canadian 🇨🇦. Air Canada is a special airline, status or not they don't care about passengers. You quickly find it out, best wishes on that . I will continue to fly air Canada only if needed as my last choice
@@michaelleetrini3635 Canadian schools smdh. I said I prefer United and am only flying Air Canada because it was half the price and counts further toward status than the twice-as-expensive United flight
@@markcorneliuslau I actually attended School in the United States.
I think AC is nicer, especially the staff. I wish AC had economy plus on their widebodies though.
such a shame you speeded up the take off and put music over the sound of the engine. Thats the best part of any flight SHAME
how the fuck can you tell if wrap was good or not 8 months later

Great video! The food looks amazing
Ideally how many leaves would you have liked in your yogurt?
It's all relative, depends how much yogurt there is.
@@airalmond I wish united expanded their leaf budget
@@hb99-u2wUS carriers need to improve a lot more than leaves..,their soft product is abysmal but then again US carriers always mention how their FA are primarily there for safety nothing else…leaves Included

Absolutely underrated video and channel. Thanks for your work and that you share your experience 🤝
Thanks, I really appreciate it! Hopefully I'll finish my Polaris video in the next 3-4 days
The upper deck is fun, because it gives Private Jet vibes and is wonderfully bright, even though it is louder. LH C, while comfortable is sadly outdated.
Definitely outdated, but I still enjoy it for a day time flight
You mean there’s more wind/engine noise?
I was planning on flying on this plane however I’m looking for great sink water pressure rather than just good
I make these videos so that customers like you can make informed decisions before booking your next flight!
Can you do a review for spirit?
If you come with me
Does anyone ask you why you’re going into the bathroom with a camera
I smuggle the camera in my hat 🎩
well-made, well-edited and entertaining video!
Thank you very much for the video.
Great video. You Explained it well! I am flying Porter soon on my trip to Canada.
It's outdated but still better than economy. Lufthansa's business class across their fleet are mostly outdated but at least they are retrofitting existing/ordering new aircfraft with updated business class products.
I flew the upperdeck for 13 and 14 hours to Japan and I love it. It was just like the old days of flying
Hello. Nice video. Im just learning of this airline thru an US Aviation blog. I wish them well..hope they prosper in an slow organized path, not a greedy one..keep the vids coming im a new subscriber
I hate Frankfort worst airport
If you are connecting I agree. But it was fun to spend a day there.
10/10
Thanks Nasim!
I like the video 9/10
What do I need for 10/10
you talk so much instead of that show airplane and also always go to galley and show the galley and also galley snack and LUFTHANSA its not first world airline its third world airline its been more than 10 years they are changing their business class seat till now only few planes have new 1-2-1 they are not top 20 either I like BA more than LH!
i flew porter i hated it i think air canada is so much better
Why did you hate it?
@@airalmond it got delayed 4 times rough landings and turbulence like half thr flight
? I'm genuinely confused, is this sarcasm. Air Canada is consistently terrible
@@A-m2w4q its not i flew porter twice and air canada is better fr
I think "privacy" is overrated. If you even slightly recline your seat, you cannot even see your neighbour. Do you stare at your neighbour? I don't.
I somewhat agree, but there are better seats, with the same amount of personal space, but with more privacy, and direct aisle access. Isn't that always preferable?
I thought the allegris was about to introduce to ORD-FRA? Or is it on 787
They started running Allegris on MUC-ORD. No Allegris in FRA yet.
Upper deck all the way! It's iconic! I don't care how outdated the hard product is. You just gotta fly the Queen.
I agree, but configuring the A350 with the same seat in 2016 was a crazy decision.
Loved this video! I flew the 747-8 last year from FRA-YYZ in Economy. It was a really solid flight and much better than my economy experience on Air Canada or Emirates.. But that might be because I’m northern European and I just want a solid product
Thanks! I think LH and AC economy is comparable, I would book LH for the 747 though, they fly it to Toronto and Vancouver during the summer. Never flown on Emirates, would love to try them. I'll soon be flying MUC-LAX on Lufthansa's A380 in economy, very excited! Will be my first time on the A380!
@@airalmond Yea! I’d also choose lufthansa just for the 747 and 380!!

Air Canada is not that bad of an airline. I've flown them a few times, and they're certainly better than what I'm used to, which is low cost airlines like Swoop primarily. However, I will be flying Air Canada more now that Swoop is gone, because their prices aren't that bad if you book at the right time
I respectfully disagree. With the possible exception of Ethiopian Airlines, it is the cheapest, most low rent, underwhelming airline on the planet. And in an industry that has devolved into cattle herding, that is a rather dubious achievement…
I Am Not A Fan Of These Seat.Great Video And Info
Thank you! It’s definitely outdated compared to the competition but still not bad a way to fly !
Really underrated chanel! I really enjoyed the video and the great editing
Thank you! More videos to come soon!
Great video! Very entertaining
Thanks so much!
I've flown Air Canada Vancouver to Tokyo in economy, about nine hours. While it wasn't the best flight I've had, it wasn't the worst either. Any "national" airline is by default bad since they know they're not going out of business if the service sucks. I can't imagine how unbelievably awful it would be if the U.S. had a national airline.
Air Canada is not a national Airline. It used to be owned by the government, but it was privatized in 1989. Federal government acquired 6.4% in 2021 to help the airline during the pandemic. They cut service to make more money for shareholders. On the other hand national airlines in the middle east get the highest satisfaction scores.
"Did you buy a bunch of snacks that expired January 1st?" that got me laughing hard
I love your humor and style. Refreshing compared to people trying to be robotic.
I completely agree with you! I was about to say the same thing
Thanks! I really appreciate it!
porter has no carry on , no seat selection at check in for their base fare and no ife, no/terrible loyalty. Air Canada over porter easily especially for the high fares porter charges for inferior product
I did say it makes sense to choose Air Canada if you can get 50K loyalty status. Otherwise just book based on price. Getting status on AC is not that easy, they charge a lot for Flex 100% SQM fares, Standard only gets 50% SQM, and Basic gets none. And free internet + entertainment over WIFI is better than seatback IFE in my opinion. But that's just personal preference.
'Let's go film the toilet' should be in every vlogger or video reviewer's lexicon.
i have yt premium but still use Revanced because of the sponsorships
Air Canada has the vast majority of the market. And it shows. The only areas where it even tries to lift its game is when it's in completion with Air Porter, otherwise they don't give a shit.
That's true. I think they will have to improve as Porter expands further.
@@airalmond Yes. Porter is a huge threat to them, I think. Everyone loves Porter, so Air Canada must step up its game to stay ahead. However, in general Air Canada is not that bad of an airline
