      @yankee21320 if you're 150cc it these mods can benefit the engine specially the exhaust as they are restrictive. But you'll see more of a benefit from a larger bore in a 50cc engine, along with a variator and exhaust to try to get a little 4 stroke to be a bit more peppier than how they come stock.

    • @X7rocks
      @X7rocks 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @GotThrottles from initial launch to when it shifts around 50 it will go from 13200 to 12900 (less power at that rpm) it's happiest in the 13.2 to 13.5 range, highest I've seen was hitting over 70 with room to with 13,600 and climbing. Thanks for watching I'll be doing an update on another project I'll hope you'll all enjoy and continue fine tuning the zuma

    • @GotThrottles
      @GotThrottles 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@X7rocks Looking forward to it. I have basically the same bike, Bugeye 70cc kit, Yasuni pipe, TOP variator and other components to make it work. I'm concerned the stock Yamaha crankshaft can't take those higher RPM's for long so I've added weights to limit it to 10,000 rpm during acceleration but I admit it feels like it makes more power in the 11-13k rpm range. So i either pray the crank holds, or give up and buy an aftermarket crank when it does. I will make a Dragy video with mine. How is your crank holding up?

    • @X7rocks
      @X7rocks 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @GotThrottles so far so good! Though there is much more power possible with the crank being swapped. I have one fun project for a drag engine being handled at the moment and will try to upload that and pick up a crank for the current engine as it should lead to good results with more air and fuel being directly funneled into the cylinder. This is the 2nd zuma engine I've had to handle over 10k rpm. Though it can last (had it last 7k miles before) and was really for it to handle the power. I do still recommend it for more higher end setups. For sports setups you're definitely good to go for a while.

      @tjjohnston7920 while the benefit of more case pressure being forced into the cylinder would he worthwhile. This is to see how an engine with over 7k miles can handle the cylinder and exhaust combo. A full circle crank is next along with porting the engine carter's. She's got nice sized tires that feels comfy at those speeds. And take any bumps on the road real smoothly. I'm sure I can hit mid 50s with a bit more stretch on the road but for a stock 50 cylinder she pulls nicely 😀 plus the benefit of not being stuck at 38 mph not having traffic get stuck behind me 😅 thats the worst feeling. But thanks for the comment and view it means a lot to a small player like me. When you snag a 2t bike like say a zuma. I will say riding into the 50s and even 60s feels comfortable as they have such a large tire fitment that it almost feels like a Cadillac riding down the roads at those speeds 😀

      @fthrgasp if I remember the zuma 4 stroke engine can get a big bore kit and a cvt and clutch kit. @fthrgasp sadly I don't know how to really pan out my times for videos. I think in my first of the series, I did manage it very well. But when it comes to videos like this, panning it out can be kinda difficult. But I'll give that a shot in the next video as I reach almost 750 miles :)

    • @X7rocks
      @X7rocks 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can add a 63mm bore but that requires boring the cases out. Then you can add a stroker to make it to 200cc for an A case gy6. The B blocks can go up to 232cc.

    Thanks for the video! I have a new X-Pro X-19, Zuma clone, like yours. I'm going to do the Taida 171cc kit soon. Head and cylinder. I was planning out taking the entire engine out though. How difficult was it to time the cam while in? When i adjusted my valves it seemed like getting the cam timing would be a bit difficult. What cam did you use? It seemed to really wake up your scooter. I like the wide band. Are you running the stock 8 pole stator still? Congrats on your build!

    • @X7rocks

      I did a smaller flywheel. As for cam timing once you release the tensioner it makes it very easy to remove and install.

    What's the downside on the smaller pulley?

    • @X7rocks
      @X7rocks 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      None really as far as performance goes. But charging wise it doesn't give the same charge at idle as it is a smaller stator than the factory one. But while riding, the charge remains the same as stock.
