    Hey man, I really enjoyed watching all this series, also helped big time rebuilding my S85. Thank you for this content as there’s no many videos out there about S85. I have just finished putting everything back on and started up the car first time, everything looked ok. I let the engine idle for 20 min then drained the oil, but I saw some glitters and shaving from the oil filter, I changed oil 3 times with 20 min idle and drained oil with same shavings and glitters. Is this normal or should I be worried and pull the engine?

    • @Unintendedacceleration
      @Unintendedacceleration 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are so many places for the shavings to collect it is hard to say if it is residual or new, I would drop the oil pan and take the rod caps off and check that way before pulling the engine as that is not a super exciting time. If it were me and it sounded fine I would run it a bit under normal conditions and check again.

      @@Unintendedacceleration thank you for replying, yeah I kinda made a mistake, the engine spun 3 rods, when I put the new engine I reused the old oil cooler along with the oil filter, and ran it, totally forgot about it then I put new cooler with filter

    If you were to get a face lifted E60 (the 2008-2010 style), you are pretty limited on headlights and tail lights when it comes to aftermarket support but if you’re careful and crafty at the same time, you can achieve the custom look on your 2008-2010 E60 and for me, I want to customize my headlights and taillights later on down the future

    Looks cool, carefully opened the lights. But there are 2 dubious points in my opinion, the first one had to be chemically removed from the chrome, soaking the inside of the lantern in chemistry overnight and then painting it. Secondly, it was probably worth assembling the lanterns not on double-sided tape, but on some kind of sealant, it will be more reliable and there will be no fogging, but here sealing will not work well. Anyway, well done, thanks for the helpful video.
