In the era mentioned, electrical behaviour in the Solar system was greatly enhanced due to, the arrival of another planet. The main suspect being Saturn, which would explain its "New" rings. Themselves a result of huge electrical turmoil. Lightning strikes on Saturn even today can reach over 100,000 miles in length, and bridge the gap between Saturn and some of its closer Moons ! So the geological feature known as the "Richat Structure" is the result of a huge electrical strike hitting the ground, twice and possibly three times in exactly the same spot. It's a well known electrical behavioural pattern of Mother Nature, and not confined to Earth. Mars also exhibits such "odd" geological patterns, all electrically created. You need to talk to the IEEE. The Worlds Official Scientific Institute for Electricity, their based in New York !
