SIMPSON DESERT | Cameron Corner to Cooper Creek

Last year we took a little detour on the way up to Cairns to duck into Munga Thirri National Park. We start our jaunt at Cameron Corner, taking the Strzlecki Track north to Innaminka, and the beautiful Cooper Creek, last resting place of the famous Burke and Wills expedition.
Though only really the fringe of the desert, we were so happy to be back. Check out our next upload on the 19th to join us on the Walkers Crossing Track towards the real heart of the Simpson.
