LONG JETTY: Quirky, Unique with 3 Historic Jetties!
We visit Long Jetty which is such a unique and quirky place with its vibrant street art and busy main corner. However, we were there to see not one, but three jetties all within walking distance from each other. We learn about the history of each jetty and take a stroll along each one. Long Jetty is, of course, the longest of the three, extending out 351m into Tuggerah Lake.
Our next stop is The Entrance where we check out the foreshore, before crossing over to the North Beach side which was so calm and peaceful.
Our final stop for the episode is The Entrance Ocean Baths and it is here we run into a bit of trouble. It would not be a trip without drone issues.

Our last day in the Yorke Peninsula and we head to Yorketown, home to the pink lake trail. We find some lakes, some more pink than others, but they were still a wonderful sight, particularly from above. Yorketown also has a wonderful Water Tower mural that has to be seen! We head to the rugged coast and locate Troubridge Hill Lighthouse sitting tall on a cliff face with the bluest water we have...

The merino is big. Must weigh tons -- & that just its balls. The scenery / walk really great. We too loved the rock formations etc. Great day 3.
Yes those rock formations were just stunning. The scenery is stunning. 😍
Have seen the dog, but didnt know that it originally Shat on the tuckerbox. Bit like you did on the big guitar John.
Neither did we! We found the story behind it quite interesting!
Exactly what I was looking for but I’m putting a sliding with dog mesh in mine. Thanks for the info legend
Thank you! Glad we could be some type of help. Good luck with your install
Don't understand why you didn't visit the Pondalowie Bay fishermen's village, it's the best place to fish and camp also the beach is safe
We would have loved to stop at everything, but by the time we reached that area, the sun was going down and we needed to get back to where we were staying. Unfortunately we were not camping this time, so couldn’t have stayed at that particular campground anyway. We hope to get back very soon and see more of the area. Thanks for the watch and comment. 😀
Great video ! Thanks for the link to your channel 💯🇦🇺
Cheers guys! Thanks for the watch and so happy you have joined our channel 😀
Came here from instagram to see the drone crash! Oh man haha
Yay! Thanks for the watch! Yes, always stressful crashing a drone, particularly when like us, have experienced it before. Makes us extra nervous! 😬
The colour of the water there is amazing 😍
It sure is!! So blue!
I commented too soon. That lookout at magazine was amazing
It’s a pretty awesome place! Cheers for the watch
That is a very beautiful place. I was kind of thinking there might be tractors on the beach

Sounds like a good spot to camp! Will have to drop in next time we are in the area. Cheers for the watch 😀
Is there opal to be found in wilcannia or is that a little too far south?
Hmmm we would suspect not. Wilcannia is still a good little place to visit. Cheers for the watch
@@takeitezy9192 I didn't think there was, but I'd love to see someone explore the idea and do an expedition. Dunno how digging random 50 foot deep holes around there would go down legally though 😅 Thanks for the reply mate I appreciate it. 👍
Awesome job guys well done
Cheers! Glad you enjoyed.

Yep, so many good ones! Luckily you got to see some when you tagged along! 😂
Long Beach looks like I need to spend a day or two there😊🏖️
It is a gorgeous beach for sure. A great one for families! Cheers for watching, safe travels!
Brings back lots of memories. I seem to recollect one daughter scaling down the Valley Lake cliff - face to save her cat ( Snowball ). Great city to raise a family.
Yep, so many memories! Yes remember that day like it was yesterday! Snowball was rescued, but I nearly tumbled down the cliff, 😂
Great vid. Noice adventure...
Cheers! It certainly was an adventure 😂
Nice road trip. A bit narrow in places !! Take care 👍
Yep it was narrow in places that’s for sure! It was a blast though! Thanks for the watch!
Went to Wentworth as part of our honeymoon over 40 years ago. Only went there cause across the border & could have a go at the pokies for the first time. Course we lost. Loved the trip. Well done. Looking forward to Limestone Coast ( & the drone piccy's )
Great story! How things have changed now. Wentworth was a great little town. Perhaps you can visit one day and reminisce your time 40yrs ago. Perhaps better luck with the pokies! 😀
Another enjoyable and informative video. Thanks guys
No worries! Thank for the feedback and watching! 👍
Great train. Loved the Lake & the Kinchega woolshed. Amazing. The background music suited the Woolshed.
Loved Kinchega Woolshed! So much history! A fantastic place 👍
Great Vid... One Day....
One day! It will happen!!
Great Vid lots of inffo .. One day.... :-)
Thanks for watching! We loved exploring the sinkholes! 👍
That wind is too much. This is the first vid of yours I've watched and it's just frustrating with the wind. From what I could tell, you guys are very informative but it was wasted in this vid, I just muted it.
Yes, the wind was INSANE! In all our travels, we never encountered such consistent strong gusts of wind. It made it challenging in parts, but you can’t control the weather when traveling. The weather improves as we move towards the coast though. Thank you for watching! We like to provide done good info, we are just happy the wind doesn’t intrude on our travels for the entire trip! Cheers
Great video, really interesting. Love the coast and the sink holes are cool. Great to see inside the volcano too 😁👍
Thank you for watching! We thought the sinkholes were pretty cool too! Some great ones to swim and dive in! 😀
Oooohhhh man! I wanna go to charlotte springs. Jealous!!!
It’s an awesome place! Would go back tomorrow if we could! 👍

Great Vid... enjoying the series..... One Day...
Yep, hopefully one day is soon for you! Thanks for the watch and comment!
Great vid enjoying the trip....
Thanks again! 🙌🙌
Great Vid....
Cheers! Thanks for the watch! Glad you enjoyed!
How ya find the RTT/Camping in Heat ??
We didn’t see it as a huge issue. We had portable fans attached in the tent above our heads. In saying this the temperatures were not too crazy when we visited. We find the tent more of a hassle when it’s cold! 🥶
love all the details in the Facebook page. ya didnt include Fuel costs and KM/lt ?? Thanks for sharing Wikicamps.. great Stuff.... One Day.
Cheers for the feedback. Yes we didn’t track fuel and costings on this trip. We guess as it’s a small trip for us we didn’t really bother. In saying this, in the future we will track our fuel economy as it’s helpful for us and other travelers. Thanks for the feedback 🤙
Beautiful buildings at Wilcannia. Great mural at White Cliffs. Could volunteer to help get more empty stubbies to do an extension.
Yep stunning old buildings! I’m sure we could all pitch in and help out with extending the stubbie house!
good video great ideas thank you
Cheers Greg! We are happy to hear you found it useful! 😀
We catch buckets of them all over the country, different names but they all love fruit, potato etc, try rockmelon, mango too...
Sounds amazing! We will look at trying some different goods next time! Cheers for the tip! 😀👍
Hope you signed the Tilpa Pub wall. The Weir looked a lovely peaceful place to rest up.
We forgot to sign on the walls!!! We were so annoyed at ourselves. Too busy enjoying the burgers and a cold beverage. The weir was such a good place to relax, and it’s free! A great spot indeed. Thanks for watching ☺️
