Gmod 9 SmartSnap - Grid Based Building Assist. Currently im just using it with the easy weld tool, but I intend to make proper tools that fully utilize the grid. (The tool model from Gmod 10 is used, but yes this is Gmod 9.)

Working on some smart build tools for gmod9. Some basic version of the grid you have in smart tools for retail gmod. There is no way to get the props bounding box, so we have to trace and approximated!

Garry's Mod ingame 9 Lua Editor - Testing various features You can now load, edit, rename and save as. You can now load different sets of code blocks for insertion. Meaning you could have a codeset that handles entities, a codeset that handles gameevents etc. The next task now is actually making some of these. After that this should be close to complete and be able to make pretty much anything!

the gun doesnt have sounds and reload sounds plus i dont see the knife
You need css content for the sounds. The knife is not included.

@@MetrocoC17 you need css content. Valve has broken gmod 9 game mounting with patches over the years. So you will need the patched version from gmod9.com

@@itsrobert0076 I made it so soda machines launches cans as projectiles for my Ultimate Mingebag game mode. This is just me playing around with them.

So I'm really curious, why stick to Gmod 9 specifically and make addons for it?
Community im a part of kept servers running after the release on steam. And between 2007-2009 when there still was a player base for gmod 9 facewan became probably the biggest one and eventually the only one remaining. Then it just came to be that we stuck around. Its been pretty on and off for me myself. Nafrayu is the one who really has been the driving force for the remaining Gmod 9 players. With 2020 horror ARGs blew up so the game saw a bit of an upswing again. Why make mods for it? Lua for it is pretty bare bones compared to Gmod 10, but it is pretty fun figuring out how to accomplish something with a limited toolset!

what is the gamemode
It is inspired by the game Ultimate Chicken Horse. You have a map usually with wide gaps. Each player gets to pick an object to place in the map. After everyone is done you race towards the end. The fun comes in balancing being able to complete the map yourself while still making it difficult for your opponents. I have some footage up on the channel. If you're curious to try it there is a server hosting the game mode for Gmod 9. Just make sure you're using the patched version of Gmod 9!
