Twinkleshine actually does appear in the show, she's one of twilight's unicorn friends in canterlot. You just didn't recognize her because they used rarity stock art on the brushable and made her pink even though she's white in the show

For the personality thing: Every main character has some sort of inherent personality flaw, but Applejack's is the only one that doesn't easily lead to wacky hijinks. She overburdens herself with responsibility and suffers in silence, or "Cries on the inside" as stated much later on. She's not going to make a scene like Rainbow Dash or Pinkie, melt down like Rarity or Twilight, or have drawn out bits about building up the courage to talk to someone like Fluttershy. She's going to quietly do five times her expected workload every day until she passes away at age 30 from heart failure, with her last words being "Quit yer fussin' ahm fine."

They should have made Celestia an opal color

I feel like they felt like removing AJ’s hat because they didn’t want to spend more money to make a small hat that people would likely lose. Princess Sterling and Princess Gold Lily give me the vibe that they intended to translate Generation One’s interpretation of Princess Ponies into FiM, everyone forgot about it, and Sterling and Gold Lily are leftovers from that.

I think accurate Celestia toy would be white with pink shimmer finish (it was common in late G3 toys to have shimmer finish).

So because Applejack got prison colors is the reason why she's a background pony.

Good vid. I was really really sad when McDonald's had mlp toys but they or hasbro swapped AJ with DJ pon3 bec they felt DJ had more appeal to kids. That's so sad. I was so sad that my favorite horse was swapped out.

There were badly photoshopped Cadence images and everything, it was a wild west I was really confused when Flurry Heart was revealed and when I came back to the show, seemingly no one remembered a certain pepto bismol horse... I remember as a kid whenever I would see a pony toy who didn't appear in the show, I was convinced they were coming to the show at some point. I was so disappointed when they never made it on tv! I was convinced the two princesses must be the lost sisters or something.
