I like growing potatoes also. Here's a trick I use. Rather than digging in the dirt to find potatoes. Pour all the dirt from the bucket that the potatoes are in in to something like that blue basket with the holes in it ( we use metal screen with 1 inch opening. Stronger than chicken wire). We do it over a wheel barrel. The dirt sifts through the holes and just the potatoes are left and you don't miss any. Then just put the dirt into another container and replant. I like 5 gallon food grade buckets. not to heavy and they have a handle.

When you're barefoot in Nature you can feel the Heartbeat of Mama Earth. Just the way she takes care of plants and al Animals eho walk on them, she takes good care of us when we directly connect with her. Our soles were meant /created to be bare. That's why there are a number of sensors /nerve endings under our feet. When you we walk on Sand,Gravel and Stones, our entire body gets stimulated through these sensors. You're doing more than just fine by living a barefoot lifestyle. Go barefoot always for good health and happy feet and soles.

It's always so wonderful to be barefoot in Nature. Not only for the Adults, going barefoot is beneficial to children as it nourishes, strengthens and promotes agility in a child's growing feet, ankles, legs, knees and hips. You're a wise Mom to allow your kid to be barefoot just like you.
