Iam trying to plug my chairs

Say I need to replace the remote on my dad's lift chair. How would I go about finding the right one? Dad's cord has started to break at the base of the remote and I want to ensure he won't have any issues.

Steps to connect cords on power recliner

Your technique solved the release clank sound! I uploaded my recliner sound here th-cam.com/video/AD2iimJbRsA/w-d-xo.html I just bought the Lancer rocking recliner, very comfortable, and noticed this clank sound, at the last 15+/- degrees of leg rest closed, was louder than most of the other floor models. The clank sound is even louder, abnormally louder I think, the further the back of chair is put back as it puts more release pressure as you release leg rest forward, especially if you close really slow as I was trying to prevent the clank. It almost sounded like some part was going to break in half as the lock gear slowly releases off! I am also putting pressure or sitting back, still loud. Perhaps it's a bit louder since I bought a floor model on renovation sale, and it sounds very concerning to where I was going to call for help before I break something, but your technique of pushing slightly back then releasing the last 15 degrees of leg rest works perfect. Before this I was actually putting my right foot down on floor before the last 15 degrees and pushing up slightly but your technique is more convenient. Sometimes I put foot down if I find it easier while slight push back. If I put carpet under it I believe it still will be relatively loud as it was the loudest at the store on carpet. technique is only way to avoid the issue.

Greg A You will never collect on a mattress warranty The cards are staked against you. They do not cover sagging. It has to be 1 1/2" dip Been there NEVER AGAIN. I bought a brand new leather and very expensive La z Boy recliner with remote control in Ocala, FL because I was anticipating shoulder surgery. Mine is squeaky right from the start! It squeaks just when I slightly rock with it, and when the reclining mechanism is driven out and in. Do they not lubricate these things when they are being built? La z boy really needs to look at their quality control. Mine was well over $2,000; closer to $3,000 even on sale!

My solution is to never buy one. They are ridiculously loud.

This is total BS. With the string test, all that is getting measured is the foam topper of the mattress, thats it. A true test would have some type of weight going across the mattress and THEN measuring how far it dips. That would be the right way of doing it BUT they will never do that because they would lose millions in replacing mattress's . Bunch of crooks !!

this is not how Tempur-Pedic wants you to measure. It's a real pia and the sag has to be more than 3/4" which is bs because it's how it feels, not the measurements. This is just a bs game they draw up on a warranty so they don't have to refund your money or give you a new mattress. They're ALL thieves and they make policies and contracts for people to sign so they are off the hook.

Same here, worst recliner ever. I had so much respect for Lazy Boy furniture until I bought one of their recliners. The recline mechanism is WAY TOO LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!! It is so loud it wakes up my wife when she's taking a nap. I talked to the store manager about it. She was very respectful and polite but basically said - you got what you paid for, there is nothing we can do for you, it is what it is. Never again. I cannot recommend their manual recliners.

That is wrong that is just bullshit seriously I got a mattress from R@S MATTRESS and I had it for maybe a few years before it went bad I was getting pressure points and getting poked from it also you can see and feel how bad the mattress is if they just opened there fucking eyes or actually really looked at it so I called them and that's all they did in this video I complained about the mattress at least five times and then finally they replaced it but after a year the mattress is shit again I have a bad back so getting poked by my bed I live in Queen Creek AZ it's a small town or city it's gotten kinda big and there's two mattress stores and I have had a mattress from both and they both went to hell way before there warranty they said it was a 10 year warranty so this inspection is ridiculous and just wrong and bullshit it doesn't tell them anything but oh it's not where it is on a tape measure for fuck sake I will never get a mattres from either mattress store because they both are crappy and the R@S mattress changed there name to Broklen bedding

Having to close one eye and lift your right leg while holding your breath really isnt what I was looking for. Why can't there be a fix like some oiling product or wax to soften the clank? Hate this stupid chair.

I hate this chair so much. I will never buy a Lazyboy again. Good news is I am only stuck with it for about 8 more years. Then after that I can buy a chair for less money that will be comfortable and work proper.

HI, I have la-z-boy rocker, recliner gliders. They squeak when rocking or swiveling. I am ready to pitch them! I've tried wd40 on the 400 small squeak points underneath. I still have a squeak. Please, can you help?
