Full disclosure, this audio was all recorded inside, separately from the video. I added some outdoor ambience and sound effects to sell the vibe but I'm not trying to deceive anyone into thinking that I actually ripped all of that in one take outside in the snow (especially the split triplets, getting the timing right on that bone part is hard enough already).

Trombonius, these videos are the exact reason I subbed to you. Thank you for never disappointing. Also, what setup do you use in terms of audio and video recording and editing? I’m kinda curious to see if I could try stuff like this myself.
Thank you! If you wanted to get started making stuff like this the setup really isn’t all that difficult or expensive. All my recording equipment is listed in the description, most of it is relatively cheap or can be replaced with a cheaper alternative. The most expensive part is the audio and video editing software (Logic Pro and Final Cut Pro) which again if you’re on a budget can be replaced with cheaper stuff. The first several videos on my channel were made using completely free software, a $30 microphone, and my phone (I didn’t even have a computer back then) and while they might not hold up to my standards today, it was good enough to get me started and I just upgraded the gear as I went along. Hope this helps!

How much time does it take you to master each instrument? What is your main tool?
Trombone is my main instrument which I’ve been playing for roughly 12 years. The other instruments I’ve started learning within the past 2-3 years, with guitar being the newest (I’ve only been learning for a little over a year.) Although I’ve got a long way to go before I can say that I’ve “mastered” any one of these instruments (trombone included).
