I played battle aces for a bit and my problem was it was way too dependent on what you chose before the match. I lost matches simply because i didn't have a count unit to his. and with your limited slots you can take in you cant take in those units because there only really good vs those types.

I was worried for a second. Genoese are an awesome unit, was satisfying to watch them melt Ele Archers, but I got worried when the Skirm and siege showed up. Burmese Ele's came to the rescue after those massive slings though, one it turned into Ele + Genoese, it was joever.

Mams are such a terrifying unit -- anti-cav damage, can run down archers, kites infantry, not stopped by skirmisher and siege pierce armor, and excellent in mass. If it wasn't for their intimidating price, they'd be unstoppable. I wonder though, trade was clearly difficult to put up in this game, but did anyone consider sea trade? Trade Cogs would have been immune to the land army, and could be built in the far 'back' of allied territory where it's harder to raid.

23:09 -- I'm shocked that SO hit didn't end the game right there, that was gorgeous.

I think AoM Retold is currently the best-looking Age of Empires franchise game. I still like the gameplay and strategy of AoE 2 the most, but the terrain, plants and animals of AoMR look so good and a lot of mechanics are interesting. But my laptop would not be able to handle the game.

Pro tip for the frost power, don’t freeze the whole army, just freeze half of it. Take a good fight against the first half and then take a good fight against the second half

Never thought Briton was very strong 1v1 if you can raid and split their army. MAA however is just shit even with Japanese. Devs please buff their speed with just 2%, it’d help a lot…
