The Butta Spot Ep. 1 || Ft. Ace Allure
I would like to invite everyone to where the name of my page was birthed. Last year when I bought my Sp I had an idea to do live mixes with an artist along side and create a series of it. Took a lil while for me to get it up and running but eventually I started shooting videos and i dropped the very first episode on my Instagram March 2022 with my brother Kassius Brikkz. I called it “The Butta Spot” and it was receiving so much love. From there I kept the episodes rolling and I realized if I kept going something could come of this. Unfortunately life started lifing and I had to go on a bit of a hiatus. With so many requests to bring the series back (which I was dying to do) I knew I had to make something happen. Which brings us to today. Season 2 (technically) of “The Butta Spot” featuring the homie Ace Allure.

Still getting to know the Octatrack, this is maybe my 5th beat i made so far. As far as beat making goes the learning curve is there but nothing you cant get over. I appreciate you !! And I’m sorry yea that’s one of the unreleased ones. I’m gearing up for a beat tape and will feature some beats from this set. And as for the mpc i don’t use it for my sets just producing. Although the mpc live is a dope live performance tool.

Facts, I wassnt using the field recorder though. I just resampled on the sp. but yea you can also use a computer. You know, what ever way feels best. I like resampling.

Man is missing out on how truly good the pattern sequencing is for the sp 404 mk2 I made an entire beat without dven touching the project just the beats that came on the mk2 and a sample layed over the beat in logic
