Love it❤
That is a nice looking knife❤
Thanks
Can it do some different shapes of a blade ?
It can do 40-230 mm in length and up to 6mm in thickness. For wide blade designs you might need additional clamps. Recurves could be tricky but not impossible. They also sell a convex adapter for said blades. Hope this helps
I got the 121 lightweight last week and so far it hasnt left my pocket. Its my only spyderco and i like it. I usually only used flipper knives but the spyder hole didnt disappoint
Did you learn to Spydie flick it yet?
All good stuff, yummy 😋
Thank you for creating such an entertaining video!
Thanks for watching 😊
Dont be surprized if this sage 5 becomes one of your favorite carries. It has for me!
It’s a knice knife
Grabbed 2 Police 4 LW’s pd#1 sprint for the price of one of these. The pd#1 seems like a great steel and will take a smoking edge easily, as it is virtually identical with CpmCruwear.
I need to check that model out
Maxamet killer….eh, not that much harder hrc. But still will be getting a Lw Sage Rex121 down the road 👍🏻
You won’t regret it
It is much higher on the charts 📈 you should check it out. Do your research don’t believe people around you.
@ Went off Dr.Larrin Thomas’s charts….🤷♂️👍🏻
@@DuhYaThink but I do think Maxamet is enough crazy 😜. Nobody needs Rex 121 you just want it or not
@ Agreed
I have both and I will take Maxamet over Rex121 any day. It is tougher and takes a finer edge. I dropped my Rex the other day for the first time and broke the tip off which has never happened to my Maxemet and I have put that knife through hell.
Interesting observation. They say Maxamet is a little more tougher than Rex 121
Just got mine today. I like it so far
It’s a great knife
Moist
The guide bar is so long to allow you to swipe along the blade in a diagonal, smooth motion. You want consistent "scratch" marks on the blades edge, not this weird back and forth filing. Think of it like peeling a potato vs sawing a log in half.
Good points you made there. I’m my defense I was recording with the other hand and trying to juggle between focusing and making strokes where the stone didn’t come off the knife. I will revisit this video in the future. Thanks for watching
Gotta need a lot of elbow grease to cut anythin with that pecker
That hurts to watch. You have a guide and still have no form.
What you talking about
Look at my knife, it’s ninja level sharp now. 🥷🔪🔪🔪 TY!
You’re very welcome!
Great song to pair with this steak 😋
It’s the bone and the fatback for me!!
Good choices!
Perfection, no thermometer needed 👍
Any other life skills tips for the rest of us who already know how to start a charcoal based grilling 😂 ?❤
Yea sure, follow me for knife sharpening videos 😅
The 4k(4000)grit sound was to course for 4000. What 4k is it?
What stones are you using?
Atoma 140/400, Suheiro Cerax 1010, Norton 4000/8000, Naniwa Gouken Kayagi 10000, leather strop with 1 micron Gunny Juice diamond emulsion
Fierce 🗡️ and cute
Thank you so much for the excellent sharpening session, it really made a difference! I do have a question though: I noticed you put your finger in one spot while sharpening. Have you considered distributing the pressure spot by spot across the entire knife? I think it might help ensure an even sharper edge overall. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for watching. I guess I can try that method out. If you noticed I kept pressure near the tip and countered it with pressure on the bolster with my thumb to ensure even pressure
Could fall asleep to the sharpening melody.
Nice knife
I agree
Thanks for sharpening session, you have a good stones.. But i feel the knife not sharp enough as 10k grit
Thanks for watching. After rewatching I should have stayed on the 10k a little while longer. However my battery was running low and decided to cut it short
Thanks for the info, very clear in explaining what each tool and stone does (and doesn’t do) 😊
Glad it was helpful!
Nice!
Thanks!
Wooooow takes a lot of diligence. Great video!❤
Yes it does and thank you!
