These signals are here mainly because lots of pedestrians come here. These signals cycle 24/7 and never stops. Alot of college students use this crosswalk and there are so many directions for ped lights. Traffic signals info: all the 20-is lights are LEF and the pedestrian signals are countdown. Update: about an hour after I filmed the signal the pedestrian signals near the college campus art u...

Bien gracias 😌
I love you
I love you 😊
Why are you deleteing this video
Your mistake you said in your other comment on this video
Note: you can’t hear the NEG as it’s dead.
The part where you said, "Update: in early 2025, the old LED green light on the mast arm for the northbound traffic has died and now has been replaced with a new LED green light." needs to be removed because no such thing ever happened and it is not 2025 yet. The next part where you said, "Update 2: in late 2024 the talking button on the southwest corner for Broadway, Crossing and the talking button for Northeast corner of Ketner Boulevard crossing has broke and now and out of service sinus put up so they enabled the speaker above the pedestrian signal for that portion." also never happened and needs to be removed. The last part where you said, "These signals were installed here in 1999 which is when the Santa Fe depot station came up." is incorrect because most of the signals were installed there in the late 1970's with additions over time and the Santa Fe station has been there for several decades and is a very historic station. If you don't know something, don't post it.
@@sandiegotrafficlightstrain354 it was misunderstood because I haven’t gone there.
Those used to be seen everywhere in San Diego. Now they are hard to find.
I know. That trip sounds still there in the Bay Area, but you will hear most of it in Cupertino and Concord. Yes pedestrian signal brand is still common in the bay area. Mostly in Alameda County and San Mateo County.
I like the old setup with the economize bullseye and Wilcox speakers.
Econolite not economize.
@msun5351 how?
This is a similar sound to some splashpads, when you press the touch sensitive button to start the water, it makes that noise!
Speakers don’t produce sound through water. They produce through air.
@TrafficLightAdventures no kidding, Sherlock. Where did you get that idea?
@@diode_exe I already learned that speakers do *not* produce sound by *moving water*, and they *move/suck out air* to produce.
@TrafficLightAdventures yeah, not sure why you'd think that but ok
How are they fragile? They look in good shape.
There is a push button for green lights where the green light actually operates on its own even if you do not press the button and in that case, there was also a speaker that isn’t making noise when the walk light comes on and I think it’s dead. Certainly there used to be an only a cuckoo at this intersection, but all of those speakers did not work after I filmed it.
@TrafficLightAdventures That doesn't answer my question on how they are fragile.
@@sandiegotrafficlightstrain354look: there is a pedestrian button that doesn’t control a pedestrian signal and a speaker on the pedestrian signal that makes no noise. Don’t know why some traffic lights are no sound Will some traffic lights do have sound.
What that's weird
Note: speakers at this intersection ever since I filmed the full video are not cuckooing anymore :(. They are just silence when the walk light comes on.
Note: my traconex speaker was playing music in the background.
Those traffic lights are operating normally again.
@@sandiegotrafficlightstrain354 oh wow finally.
@TrafficLightAdventures Its because the construction is over.
@@sandiegotrafficlightstrain354 I don’t know if the city put it in flash or the construction workers did.
@TrafficLightAdventures The city is always in charge of their signals and they can operate them.
I want to hear the walk audio, not music.
@@sandiegotrafficlightstrain354 I actually did overlap my own audio and music so if you listen closely, you can hear it.
I agree
It was a 40 seconds countdown. I just cut video so that the pedestrian signal looks like it’s only 20 seconds.
Note: other pedestrian signals in the intersection are countdown and are still working fine unlike this one in the video.
Note: I don’t know what speaker or button brands most of them are, but I know there is a Wilcox speaker on one corner of the intersection.
I always like that design of traffic lights with the left turn signal on the median and the 8 8 8 traffic lights on the corners.
Oh wow, yeah but the median signal isn’t visible most of the time when I drive here, so I always look at the one on the very left. I know there is a newly installed 8-8-8 at a freeway ramp.
@TrafficLightAdventures Can you do a video of it please.
Note: sounded like the pedestrian signal speaker above this was playing music just cause you heard the talking button. It wasn’t doing that and I just added a music to this video and if you listen closely, you can hear the chirp.
I dont see any clouds at all. In fact, you just showed us clear blue skies near the end of your video. Are you just filming where the windshield turns darker?
@@sandiegotrafficlightstrain354 oh yeah I thought so because of my windshield and didn’t realize my windshield was there.
@TrafficLightAdventures So there's no thunderstorm then?
@@sandiegotrafficlightstrain354 it was just further down the street. Not this intersection.
@TrafficLightAdventuresBut I don't see any clouds down there.
@TrafficLightAdventures But there are no clouds down there. You just showed us clear blue skies near the end of the video which has me thinking you are just making it up.
Note: there is no school or college campus near this crosswalk. I do not know exactly why it’s painted yellow, but hopefully they repainted white.
This is a Ped Crossing
Please note that those gray clouds on the background is because of that thunderstorm in my city.
Also note, near the end of the video, you showed us clear blue skies.
@@sandiegotrafficlightstrain354also note, those are not clear skies. They are rain clouds.
@TrafficLightAdventures But you showed us clear blue skies near the end of the video so how can there be rain clouds in the same spot you showed us the clear skies?
I like how that train signal flashes like an incandescent.
It’s fiber optic not incandescent.
I just can’t believe I got a comment on this video as instantly it’s posted.
A lot of underground parking lots have that same type of sign. San Diego has a lot of them downtown.
I know, but it’s rare to see them everywhere else and I have a full video of it and you’re the end of the video you see it activate and I have a also video how it looks like when it isn’t in use. Apparently, in this video it was taken on the very first floor. While I think they’re are 17 floors on this building.
I know if you go to floor negative one all the way to the very last negative floor you will see more of these.
Go film them
So...where's the thunderstorm?
Was just a few miles ahead so you won’t see it on the video. There was another thunderstorm that happened at 4 o’clock in the morning on Sunday and I live these much miles ahead, which I was woken up.
@TrafficLightAdventuresOh. Your title made it seem like your video was literally in a thunderstorm.
@@sandiegotrafficlightstrain354 you can see the gray clouds.
@TrafficLightAdventures What day did you film this?
@@sandiegotrafficlightstrain354 it was on a Sunday when this happened and everyone in the city received a ring neighborhood alert of white flashes.
Located at G2 northbound on ramp and Stevens Cr Blvd.
Note: the chirp in the second speaker sounds very weird.
Update: no longer go to this city very frequently anymore. I decided to go somewhere else because that city is always crazy busy.
Update: no longer go to this intersection anymore. I have some other videos to.
Cool
So now you're deleting my comments calling you out. Weirdo
@msun5351 thanks
Note: talking buttons at the Ketner traffic are at max volume so you could hear the reverb sound.
Located at Adam’s Ave & 35th St.
