what model of silage chopper is that
Congratulations Ruthie and Johnny. Both great matches!
It's good that the goats like the silage. Saves on the hay bill if you can grow your own feed.
sun hemp is great for feed super healthy and it is great for soil ,some say its low cost also
Hope his knee is feeling fine!
Congratulations on your deer hunt Curtiss.
I can see money is a problem for you but from what I see… this is an accident waiting to happen in many ways and the dad doesn’t care if he puts his kids in harms way and what is even worse is the mom is watching it happen and laughing about it just because she doesn’t want to do anything else but run the camera!!!! The daughter was under a lot of pressure when she could have been running the camera and the lazy mom could have been driving the truck!! The dad was more worried about keeping the trap pulled up under the truck rather than the kids being run over and or hit by the doors on the truck!!! Instead of laying the tarp on the ground and getting the kids out of the way!!!! This is one of the worst Chanel’s I’ve ever seen!!
interesting
interesting
That last load was really packed in there. Now for it to ferment and make some great feed for the goats. We always put up a big pit of silage too. We milked 30 head of cows, so it was always good to have besides just hay.
Man this is awesome to see you will memories for the rest of your life and the kids will have stories to tell there kids. God bless you all
It was a good day on the farm, thankful for memories to make!
I'm new on your channel, and I like farming videos . If you hold that door, shut, take a bungee cord, and put on it that holds it shut
We are still trying to figure out the best way to close that door, but thanks for the advice!
Just dump the silage on the ground then pack it and put your plastic over the top . Your going to be a month of Sundays fill it the way your going, but there's always a learning curve , good luck !!
Thanks for the tip, we'll definitely keep that in mind for next year.
At 3:15 that hitch is bent and coming apart, plus the pin is too small. Some one is gonna get hurt messing with that halfass stuff.
Dumbest video I ever watched!!! You don’t warp the chopped corn you cover it !!!
Gostei muito aqui no Ceará a gente trabalha muito com Valmet limpando capoeira 🪖
It’s awesome to see how people all over the world do things differently!
Your cutter seems to be leaving too much on the ground. Should be chopping right at ground level, leaving almost no stalk
The silage cutter is pretty old... Maybe the newer ones work better... But our goats will finish it off. Thanks for watching
I would get a better that looks like a way to get kids hurt
Good load for the first load. We always had ours done by one of the farmers in our area. We just put it in a pit then covered the pit with some kind of tarps. I'm not sure about the cover as I was only 12 when they sold the farm. After Ruthie kind of got the hang of it she did good.
Trial and error farming for us, hopefully this will be good feed for the goats through the winter. Ruthie did so 👍 great
Where are you located, I have to agree with your slogan. As my last name is Wilhelm also, I live in Texas.
That's awesome We are in Arizona. Welcome to our channel
I never learned to drive the big truck on the farm as there was an older brother to do that when dad needed a second driver. Ruthie, you will get it and be driving like a pro after a few times driving it.
She did awesome! Normally the BIgger boys totally would but we just had a injured leg and a missionary, but Ruthie can do anything!
We covered our silage pit with some kind of covering. But nothing in the pit. But that was in the 50s.
Good idea to grow the wheat and then try to make your own flour for bread. Homemade bread is the best!
sun hemp feeding goats to,and its a soil fixer
millet may grow better and it's healthy also...
There's always something that makes it hard to raise crops on a farm.
@@edwinschlee8374 isn't that the truth...
Rock piles graves?
At least George was willing to try and do it instead of saying I can't. I have always gone with the theory that if you say I can't you will never do anything. I have done a lot of different things in my life. My number one Hobby is Crocheting, and I have been doing it for 53 years! But I have several more.
That is awesome, I never learned to crochet, George really does have a doers heart
It's surprising what you can find around where there might have been old homesteads.
Yep it was a fun adventure
That water line will make it easier to water the fields.
It is always nice to have different water locations, what a blessing water is
Looked like everyone was having a good time. That was a big fish Johnny caught at the end.
It was great! Lots of rain but it was fun!
The crops are all looking good. Hope the squash does good as last years did!
Thanks!
You are great🎉🎉
Thanks!
I'm amazed all you guys get done!!! Bees! Garden! Home building! Goats! Horses! etc. You guys are awesome!
Well some things take us a little longer than we had hoped, but we are sure learning as we go!
That’s right in the morning like 5-6 u can tell by the sun light ❤🌅
Hope they are doing ok after getting some milk into them. Poor orphans.
Curtis did good on the tractor for a first time. The last of your kids are starting school.
That was a good idea. It is amazing the number of rocks you have gotten out of the field!
Hope you can get some honey from them soon.
Good job skipping stones as far as you did. Johnny needs to be in the long jump in track! Another windy night here in SE Colorado!
Hope you got all the lost wires located. chopping down a lot of water sucking trees makes for more grass.
Grateful for the moisture!!
Yes it is such a blessing!
Miss your Dad singing.
Yeah we need to get some more of his songs recorded!!
Love watching these kids wrestle
Great wrestling boys
🧡🧡🧡
Great job both of you!
💛💛💛
Way to go Ruthie and Johnny 2 champions
Way to go Ruthie🏆🎆 and Johnny!
