Grinding the floors was very difficult. I used and 8" grinder and cup wheel to grind 3,500 s.f. It took roughly 12 hours of hard work but was worth it in the end. We wanted to seal the floors to stop any chance of radon coming up through the floor or vapor that could disturb the flooring. We used a product called Radon Seal.
