Graphics arnt the best in vr but it still looks better than 90% of the other vr game to be fair
@@DeadeyeVfps One thing you’ll notice if you try it out for yourself is that there’s a lot of jaggedness with grass and trees. It definitely looks better in the recording as if it’s being filtered out. I’ll be doing a lot of messing with settings over the next few weeks, and if I find a really good balance of looks to performance, I’ll make a video about it. Also it should be noted that this mod definitely favors very strong hardware. If you have a 4080 or 7900XT and above, it would probably be incredible.
I can see the potential in this. That guy you killed by the weapon box took the raid bag from the guy on the stairs. When I saw you killed the guy on the stairs, I got hype knowing you got a raid bag if you managed to patch up in time. But went crazy when I saw it disappeared and then reappear on that guys back lmao. Keep up the good work.
Oh I am absolutely hype for this. Can't wait to see where this goes in the next year. Incredible it already where its at to begin with. Tarkov truly needed a VR mode or mod.
@@ss4goku3000 Agreed! It’s pretty incredible stuff already, can you imagine if they find a way to allow us to reload manually? Insane.
@xPASTY When you picked up the AFAK and interacted with it my jaw dropped and then you put it at your back and added it to inventory and I was immediately sold. I have full faith these devs will find a way even if it as simple as making the gun enter like a no mag status and then when you hold the model of the mag next to it, it just pops in to a loaded mag status of some sort. Really excited for the future.
@@ss4goku3000 The loose item interactions are sick, that Half Life: Alyx type of control works so well. I didn’t showcase it in the video, but with armor/helmets, as long as the slot isn’t occupied, it automatically goes into that slot by looting it the same way. Pretty cool stuff.

At the rate the SPT modders move, I'd expect SPT-VR to be bug-free before standard EFT 1.0 comes out.

Pretty sure Streets of Tarkov in 15FPS VR has already been banned by the Geneva Convention under "cruel and unusual punishment"

I like the mod but find the graphics quite hard to deal with when trying to aim at a tiny scav head, with the current aiming mechanics. Hopefully the dev can sort something out about the aiming and people start making optimisation videos or something.
I agree, the graphics side of things needs a lot of work. Way too much jaggedness when I'm looking at trees and grass. I may have to try a few things to balance out performance and clarity, and I do believe there are some suggestions buried in the comments of the mod page you could try. If I find something that works really well, I'll make a short video about it.
the developer who made this game actually made another game called Zona project x that came out first with the same lore and gameplay loop and stuff, the dev actually appears to still update both games which is insane considering it’s a solo developer. The first game has less intensive requirements than the sequel and should run better on lower end pcs just as a heads up for anyone who thinks their pc would struggle trying to run this game, the minimum requirements listed on steam for the sequel (Zona origin) say that a rtx 2060 would work but I’m not too sure how accurate that is as my rtx 3060 floats around 80-90% load while running the game on low settings, so long story short if you’re interested in the game but are worried about your pc specs, grab the version of the game called Zona project x and that should help out quite a bit
Gone through some stuff on this map already. The BTR is so frustrating to hide from
Kolkhoz is definitely not an easy map! For most people it's probably also their first encounter with Sliders. I like it, and you definitely get used to the difficulty as you play. Learn the BTR's route too, that'll help.

glowing markers to fire mode switchers is not realistic but irl you would be able to feel where the arrow is pointing at so is it unrealistic?

Cheese tip! You can clip things so that they hang out of the bag (like meds, ammo, gas mask, ect.)and leave all the center space for your loot pile! Makes it so you don’t have to sort through a mess in a critical moment.

2:55 The backpack in this game is honestly kinda crazy. The fact that you can hold four primaries at any given time is pretty slick, and you can technically hold onto six when transitioning between zones (though it'd be heckin' bad trying to juggle all those). 3:58 Mr VR Voice had the right of it when talking about all those silly people on the leaderboard. "Buncha newbs!" 4:16 I think the weapon wiggle is a little bit too pronounced on that particular gun, though I'm not 100% sure I'd be too much better with it in real life, ehehe. That's actually part of why I prefer the AKS-74U to the AK-74 in this game when I'm after a gun of that caliber, because its off-the-shoulder handling is actually quite a bit snappier. Other rifles such as the AS Val and the Ghost are a lot tighter than the AK-74 as well. 5:50 If I'm completely honest I turn off the desk lamp as well because I'm a dork, but there's a light switch by the entrance that you can turn off too. You can also toggle the desk fan next to the surveillance equipment. 8:12 Artifacts only spawn inside of areas with anomalies, so scan around a bit whatever you come across them (including clusters of those red/blue spheres), or special areas like the pool you go to later in the video. The anomalies themselves show up as black dots on the detector while the artifacts will show up as red, and if you hold the detector perpendicular to the ground it will show you where they are in relation to you while beeping its little heart out. They reveal is just triggered by being in close proximity. Additionally, different detectors are capable of revealing artifacts at different types of anomalies. You run into various types of 'interference' that will prevent the lower-tier detectors from picking them up (such as electrical). The game's best detector is super chunky and can reveal all artifacts in a 360 degree radius around you. 14:00 Whenever an enemy 'distorts' like the Snork-a-like, they're effectively invulnerable. Get a little distance and wait for them to re-manifest. 15:06 ITR1 freaked me out more than ITR2 and ITR1 1.0 freaked me out more than ITR1 2.0. That may change in the future. Hell, I hope it does! The combat is so darn good, holy moly. 16:22 The enemies on the map were a thing in Z.O.N.A Project X as well, but it seems pretty random in terms of whether or not it actually happens. Some enemy types would be invisible on the map in some areas, where you could see them on others. It was kind of inconsistent. 19:59 Most enemies in the game that will die to a single headshot from the 5.45 weapons. There are of course exceptions to this rule, and there's one enemy that it takes four headshots from the game's strongest rifle before they get bodied. 23:00 Igor's drawers and cabinets are PEAK. I said he should tell CM games how to do it and he just said they are perfectly capable of doing their own thing. Also yes, that was a Val mag; good eye! 32:40 I actually really dig that it shows real-life time on there. Finally, I think I already told you I'm bad about leaving a manifesto. This one was kind of light. ☠ Cheers! 🍻

@@xPASTY yeh I like what I've played so far but in coop I can't even reload my own gun have to get team m8 to put bullets in the clip cos its still showing billets in an empty clip so I can't keep playing like that so just gonna have to come bk to it st some point in the future I think.
@@angryhitman6181 Hahaha damn I didn’t know it was that buggy. I’d make a good bug report and submit it through the Discord, unfortunately I never did any co-op when a few of us were on the beta but I did see co-op bug reports come up quite often.
@@xPASTY yeh might just do that cos it is a bit of a game breaker lol. Plus I've had had it where my harness thing you wear facings the wrong way so you can't get nothing out of it 🙄 I mean these are pretty essential things to really work from the start I'd say. But I'm no developer lol

Thanks, really looking forward to this game. Seeing some good improvements to the first. The enemies see you way too easily, though. Kind of ridiculous how any amount of stealth is basically impossible.
@@kain0067 Agreed, mimic spotting ability needs tweaked. When I snuck up through the brush and was peeking behind that tire, I shouldn’t have been spotted.
That last little part of the peninsula where you find the shotgun mimics always gave me a hard time. I died way too many times there.
@@plentyofnothing-ss9wp There’s not enough cover in that area to be honest, they need to add some spots for the player to hide behind. I did what I could with the elevation changes and brush but it was definitely sketchy. Have you gotten to try the EA build yet?

@@xPASTY Aaaaaaaaahhhhhhh. Yes, I did. The earliest access was definitely pretty darn choppy. I remember my hands having unstoppable spasms. But walking into the new Facility for the first time, it was amazing.

really really disappointed that there’s no human NPCs, huge missed opportunity - seems like a overly safe sequel but i’ll reserve full judgement until i play it tomorrow
@@cooki3th1ef Well there’s never been any human NPCs in the Into the Radius game, unfortunately that’s just not the style this game is. It would be cool though, it could make it more dynamic like STALKER is.

@@AndyVelador-fm3xc “Into the Radius 2 is only announced as a PCVR title for now, and while we'd love to bring it to more platforms in the future, PCVR is the only platform we can promise availability on for the foreseeable future.” That’s the official response from CM Games. I also cover it in the second ITR2 update video.
Played ITR since it started. I am exited for ITR2 and I am warning my squad that I am a gremlin and will be running off on my own trying to find a long gun.
@@midwaykrazy You’re only able to do that on the same map just in case you weren’t aware. Which the Forest is huge, but you can be in entirely different areas of that map but no one can be in Peninsula and someone else be in the Forest.
@xPASTY I kinda figured, including since they are still working on the coop aspect of the game. However, that doesn't stop me from doing what I do best, and that is being a loot goblin. Still plan on finding a long gun as soon as I can.
@@midwaykrazy I haven’t been able to get myself to rifle status yet but I am very much so looking forward to getting a 5.45 AK to hunt down mimics with.
@xPASTY I do miss the Bayonet on the SKS way back. Though at one point, I was armed with two SKS and was using them as swords.
In: 2 the Radius I really need to finish the first one sometime! While this all sounds awesome, I prefer the more ethereal, unreal design of the original artifacts.

@@xPASTY Not really, the lower-poly art style made everything look more alien and greatly contributed to the eerie atmosphere of the last game. Don't get me wrong, I love all the gameplay improvements, and I will absolutely be buying it, but I definitely don't agree with the direction they've chosen to take the art style. The mimics are another minor gripe, I like how the first ones didn't have any detail besides "oh that one has a hat!" like whatever made the Radius didn't understand us any more than we understood it. The new ones have full uniforms, which definitely adds to the 'mimic' aspect but makes them feel less otherworldly. I am sorry for this ranting wall of text about art style and the nature of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-likes.
@@Attaxalotl No man you’re good! Feel free to rant all you want (you are also feeding the algorithm which helps me lol). You’ve got your reasons for liking one art style more than another and that’s cool by me. Personally I like the ITR2 world textures and creature design more than the first one because night time irritated me so much because I couldn’t see shit. The new mimics really aid that problem with the lower half of their face being brightly colored.
I was just about over-encumbered two guns in hand throwing one to be able to sprint on the third throw it went to the moon ( not literally it just went up and up and up!!) I have found a few but some silly some awesome and some annoying!!!
I have a few days to complete ITTR before this comes out!! I just bought the VSS Vintorez have not used it outside of the shooting range I wanted the OTs-14 Groza but I wanted a gun with a suppressor built in!!
@@tobygreen7116 I used the AS VAL a decent bit when I played through the first one, that gun and the VSS hold a special place in my heart.
Dunno if you realized it yet but 9x39 are subsonic rounds and therefore the bullets fly perceivably slower than say 5.56NATO. Which makes it harder to hit distant targets.
Oh I’m definitely buying it. I’ve beat ITR1 like 500 times. Lol.
I enjoyed the commentary-less gameplay. Getting the audio balanced version doesn't do the game justice. Cannot wait

因为要照顾该死的一体机算力。一体机一方面扩展了vr受众群,另一方面真的是把整个dev圈的风气搞烂了。原本vr是追求极致真实的模拟体验,结果现在家家为了quest2跑得动砍模型砍材质砍特效砍场景… PCVR玩家震怒。

I dunno I might just stick with 1 for now then let them flesh it out a bit. as I am new to VR within the last 6 months and am really only just getting started in i.t.r.1
@@Steelninja77 Same, I just started this year too! I’m way more of a casual player, being an adult with my own responsibilities definitely chips away at gaming time, especially throwing editing videos into the mix. Hopefully you start to see some good improvements over time, I really think ITR2 is going to be incredible.
@@xPASTY Oh yeah it already looks incredible. But I might hold off for the full experience or at least a fuller experience. But it does look cool. I will buy it co's i like to follow development in games i really like. Just might not playit much co's worry about burning yourself out in the ;limited content and getting bored of the game etc. It is why I usually stay away from early access. not always. and love the new graphics. Best looking VR game yet i think.
A reasonable decision. Early access is for those who're eager enough to experience something new or/and support the devs. Trust me though, that you won't hesitate joining the early access once you finish ITR1.
