1966 Ford Mustang Walk Around + Drive
Quick walk around and drive in my 1966 Ford Mustang in Nightmist Blue Metallic with the original 289 and a 5 speed T5 manual transmission. Car has been in the family since purchased new at Los Altos Motor Sales in California in late 1965.

Walk around and drive around town in my 1969 Mach 1, east of Seattle. Car is a 390 4 speed car in Indian Fire Red. Was testing exposure settings on my GoPro, interior gets a bit lighter half way through. Will try something a bit more neutral next time.

City and freeway drive in my 2012 Toyota Tacoma, TRD Sport double cab 4x4 with a 6 speed manual transmission and 30,000 miles. I am the original owner, purchased at Panama City Toyota in 2011. Testing the GoPro exposure settings - in Woodinville and Kirland, WA, outside of Seattle.

If his car has the stock clutch setup (3 finger clutch with mechanical linkage) it will be very difficult to drive. As the owner of a 4 speed 66 coupe with said combo I can speak from experience

I had the twin to this car back in the '60s, except mine had A/C and a console, with blue and white pony interior. Wish I still had it.

Not a factory GT but a very nice clone. Factory GT's have front disc brakes - and have "disc brakes" in chrome letters on the brake pedal.

Buy a manual if you plan to keep the truck for a while the auto magics probably cost a small fortune to work on or replace.

Just got the same car. But someone painted it blue and put a 70 front cap. Still waiting for my Marti Report. Not sure yet if it's the same drive train from the factory. 69 Mach One Indian-fire 390 4 speed with 3.25 rear-end.
This is the only car I really want to own but I'd rather run it off of water with a hydrogen electrolyzer

Did you drive an automatic before purchasing this manual? Been driving manual all my life, but at 37 years old, thinking of buying an auto tacoma instead. What RPM does is is the engine whe your in 6th on the highway, say at 120km/h (75mph)?
I’ve ironically only ever had manual cars - my first was a manual 2000 4Runner. At 75 on the highway I’d have to check but I’m guessing it’s probably around 3000 or so. I just got a Tesla Model Y - first automatic for me, definitely better for sitting in traffic but I enjoy the manual otherwise
@Supergirl I get it, I've injured my knees several times at work, and now wear knee braces. I'm recently bought a truck that's am automatic (99 silverado 2500 w/6.0l V8 and auto trans) I parked my standard 2010 Mazda 3 GT, even though the truck is way worse on fuel. First auto car I've ever owned more than a day and it's nice to drive
Have a 2014 Tacoma 6-spd and can confirm its slightly under 3K RPM at 75mph (I think around 2700rpm iirc)

I personally wasn’t a fan of the clutch response in the 3rd gen. Ended up with the automatic.
apparently theres a valve that causes that, that can be easily bypassed
Transmission in new models not a great match for the engine, it was obviously designed for the 4 liter which had better low end torque. Especially bad in 1st to 2nd shift.
Ive been considering buying a manual tacoma and watching this video was extremely helpful in my decision making. Also, love the music choice!

I have the exact color, model, transmission and 4x4 bought it last year in August drove to NC to pick it up drove back to GA, it had 91,xxx, one owner car fax certified. I just changed the oil yesterday at 105k miles. I absolutely love driving it especially being a manual 👍🏽👍🏽it's pretty much stock with the exception of the wheels and seat covers the previous owner installed, I bought some kicker speakers I'll be installing this weekend along with sound deadener. Any mods on yours?

Hey Im looking at an 07 with the 6speed, whats your thoughts on the transmission, I've read that its not as good as the third gen tacoma transmission. How are you liking the truck so far?
@@nicholasrubio1660 ah man I've had my taco 3 years now and I still love to drive it just as much as I did when I first got it, my transmission hasn't given me a problem at all since I bought it, I've changed all the fluids to include transmission fluid just recently and it's just as smooth as when I bought it, good luck on your potential taco and you'll have fun driving it I guarantee it👍🏽
