Do you have to collect ALL to be able to get a physical car?

Just because new boulevards come out. New pop cultures come out and new premiums come out doesn't mean that every car is good. Sometimes there's 1 good and the rest suck and the reason why you can tell that is because all those cars that nobody wants are still on the shelf. The scalpers will always take the good cars that they're going to resell.

Gotta be honest, I've unfortunately not paid too much attention to the entertainment series and pop culture series in the past, I wish I had because there were some awesome castings and art work. My favorite casting used in pop culture is the VW T1 panel, that is one of my favorite HWs castings and I wish I had all of them. My favorite pop culture continuation line is the Beatles Hiway Hauler, the white album one I absolutely love. Another casting I really like is the dairy delivery and I missed out on the latest, the MTV space man. Will have to resort to resellers for that one, but I made sure to get a few of the Beavis and Butthead Pacer, such great memories from that one. Great video, TY.

My local toys r us told me that they had the promotion but they didn't receive stock of the kool kombi because they're moving to a different store 😑

So stoked that we finally got some good stuff in SA. Numbers wise, the lady at the TRU store I went to (Cape Gate) said they got 48-count box of cars in. From what I heard, it was 20 boxes for the whole of SA. So in total 960 cars in SA. Mattel definitely made over 100k of these cars. Another difference though, is we have the international card and the ones at the convention have US cards, so maybe ours are rarer LOL? BTW your content and quality is insane, keep at it!

You'll be lucky to get ANYTHING good on the pegs...heres a bunch of Scalpers working together....& then selling it online..or at their shops for crazy prices & even exporting it...since that started pickings has been slim here

Heres the thing. Everyone complains and complains. Complain about too little made, now too much made, no stickers, still cant get stuff (though why would anyone worry about not have a now MASS produced "exclusive" item) So many threaten to leave but still stay. Apparently they like the abuse. I don't know.😂😂 Sorry but they are not unique anymore. Much better priced premiums from ither companies out there and PLENTY of retail premium Hot wheels out there. As for OVERDRIVE. so many suckers bought into it and except maybe for the pink car, everything has been easy to get. And ALL are pretty cheap aftermarket right now. $100 wasted imo. You just watch them change a bunch of stuff again next year. I buy very little RLC now. 9 or so in the last 2 years. Thrill is gone my friends. Time to move on.😂

We aren't really getting much for rlc but, I can't wait for the motu night stalker. The rlc's I'm really interested this year are the rx7, supra and r34 that I'm waiting to come in the mail.

The latest RLC just drop this last Tuesdays was the 40th anniversary Optimus Prime at a price of $80 dollars it sold out in less 30~45 minutes. You need to do review on it.

I dont think u can buy multiple of the gtr because for some friends they couldnt buy it because it was sold out in the first 5 mins

I just started collecting HWs about 5 months ago, mostly mainlines as i enjoy the hunt and going to the three stores in my area. I have a few premiums and a few treasure hunts, but as far as 2024 mainlines, way too many repaints. I know repaints are common, but seeing the same cars i just purchased a few months ago isnt enticing. Matchbox are fun as they are always clean looking cars, but they do too many regular, boring looking cars...like cars that are too common in real life if that makes sense. But as far as the rlc or club stuff, i might do it one day, but searching thru the pegs are more fun to me.

The Lamely Group channel guy gets all the upcoming RLC release drops way in advance and he opens them up as well. He also gets all the mainline cases and premium releases from Hot Wheels to showcase. If you want to know what’s gonna be getting released this year just look up his spot here on TH-cam. There is also a couple official Hot Wheels RLC TH-cam channels hosted by Hot Wheels developers and designers. I can’t recall the exact names but there is a bunch of TH-cam channels that have shown at least 10 of the upcoming RLC releases. I definitely feel for you and I know the pain of getting my order cancelled after receiving a completed order confirmation email. It happened to me last year and I’m still pissed off about it. The worst part is Mattel told me the car was oversold due to a glitch in their system then 2 months later that exact car shows up in stock in the Hot Wheels shop during one of the Thursday RLC secret sales they have been doing for the last decade.

I have yet to have a payment process through OD successfully. I have had to buy the elite datson, green kawa bug and the orange mclaren myself. All came with emails saying my payment didnt work and then next day the item was canceled.

Have been an RLC member since 2010. No, I don't have all the cars. Life gets in the way. But do have a few big ones. The Candy Stripper, the gasser club car w/neos, to name a couple. And most of the club cars with pins & patches.

Matchbox sucks, Hot Wheels are junk now.....the derelicts in Malaysia shove them in shippers bent, sideways, cards bent on supers. I went through 3 sidekicks didn't even have a regular treasure hunt.....you're all collecting the crap leftover from the collector's era...good luck wasting time hunting crap!!!!🤣

Does anyone know how many regular RLC memberships are available compared to how many units are made? Because if there are more memberships than cars not everyone is getting one anyway. And that would seem unfair. I got the overdrive upgrade because I didn't feel like a hundred bucks was a lot for the convenience of the purchases and guarantee. And I'm rather broke. We'll see how it works this year and see what they do next year.
