Thanks, if you go to maffez.com there he made guides to mod various analog gear. I did used his guide to mod this one. But to be honest, you can get td3 modded version from Behringer really cheap these days.

Don't know if you have heard of Black Sun Empire expansion, it's pretty good tbh.

Yeah, I have been listening them since driving insane album. Together with others like dom and Roland, phace, noisia etc. Black sun empire just released single yesterday or couple of days ago;) ( it’s called consume the power)

@@Cray23_Official love to do something with it. I use an rd8 with an rd9 slave these days, so it’s just in a drawer now.

I’m planing to get rd8 at some point, had rd9 but had to sell some of my gear to fund something else life bestowed upon me🤣 but one day I’m going to get them both and rd6 again too (it has nice punchy snare) anyway rd6 screams for modding🤣 and if you are careful with steady hands you should be able to mod it when following mr maffez guide, you can also contact him and ask him to do it for you;) if I make one again I’ll drop a line here if you going to be interested but I’m not planing doing that soon. Maybe in couple of months from now.

Hi, all my projects are setup quiet simply. I always put groups in this order - pad1 drum kit 1 (drums of your choice) - pad2 drum kit 2 (different drums so I can swap between them by muting one or the other - pad3 hats/rides - pad4 percussions - pad5 drum loops (usually with hi pass filter and chopped so variations can be used) - pad6 shorter synth sound like blips, zaps etc - pad9 bass samples - pad10 lead samples - pad11 voices (if there is any in given project) - pad12 additional sound (if needed or if additional ideas appear ) - pad13 crash/cymbals Sometimes I’m using pad14/15/16 for midi to control my external synths Every channel have compressor on and some fx (plus of course other effects but compressors are always there;) Master out is lowered to -9db And there is usually XYfx on master to do stutter effect during performance. Then using second MPC connected with Ethernet cable and synced thru link you can stop one while the other still plays and you can swop projects that way;) But you can make long live set with only one MPC, it would require bit different approach but it is doable. Thanks;) yes I’ll definitely record that, I just need to get master compressor/limiter and also to finish couple more track I’m working on at the moment but work takes lot of my time currently so I have slowed down a bit:/ but it’s coming for sure;) thanks again for liking my tunes. It is decent wavetable synth, lot of options. You can import your own wavetables too and samples. I do most of my dark sounds on ModWave or OpSix recently and now I just bought butter synth for iOS on iPad and that will make it into my DnB tracks too as it does sound heavy;)

I do design them, it’s mostly from Korg ModWave and Korg opSix but I do use all sorts gadgets. Actually there are couple of risers sound which I made in nanostudio2 on iPad with its integrated synth which is monster ;)

I think so, I followed maffez’s guide on td3 and there is cut off cv in mod and it worked no prob. So with same technique I believe it can be done for any rotary/fader control. If you thinking about doing it, google Maffez. He did mods for other synths and usually there is guide for them too;)

Yeah;) I bought second one some time ago and now I’m building tracks for it( I’m almost ready for 50-60 minute one) I have been asked by few people to do some video of them two working together and I did promise I’ll make it today so if you are interested it will be ready around 7 o’clock today (it won’t be full set, just to show how they work together) I wish all the new groove boxes had Ableton link build in. Although there is way around it using iPad/iPhone so even old stuff can be link synced;) now I’m saving for that syntakt you infected me with😂🤣😂 And I should finish some tracks I have in progress in nanostudio2, I didn’t touch iPad for some time now:(

@@Cray23_Official Nice, will watch it for sure … I bought recently Octatrack for purpose of using it asi perormance mixer/efector/looper to be able to make smooth transitions from track to track … Regarding unfonished NS tracks tell me something about it :-))) I have probably 20-25 pieces from 30 dec to 3 minutes long which indidn’t touched for 2 years, this HW production competely consumed me 😂😂🤝

@@Cray23_Official wow shit bro please make a video on how to make 50 to 60 min track using 2 MPC . I own a MPC one and Force and MPC Key would be sick to know how to work with them all together..

I just checked and both Mpc keys and force have Ethernet port so if you want to connect all three of them I would go Mpc one to force via Ethernet and force to keys via Wi-Fi ( all sync with link ) then it’s just playing whatever you have loaded in those machines as you pleased, when you finish playing track on one you can stop it while others keeping tempo in sync even when you load another project. This way you can play all night long. I’ll make video (I already did one but deleted it as it was just to show it running together) of whole set but let me know if you want step by step video of how to set it all up etc. and I’ll make one as you are not only person asking about this;)
