Advocate Harbour History. Family Sacred. Hi my name is Phil Corbin my story is about me growing up in a small village in N.S. Canada . Here is a small bit of a story with many levels . I was born in 1959 to an unwed mother Sevilla Corbin Nuttall. the family was very mean and hard on her. She was taken to Berwick Kings Co. N.S .for my birth ,I was left there to avoid imbarrassment.Two weeks later they called to say i wouldn’t stop crying didn’t know what to do. my mother went to get me found me with dubble pneumonia ,both ears infected and bloody and bad dipper rash they took me to doctor he pulled out a one inch piece of Qtip from my ear .I was taken back to Advocate Harbor. where I was left with my mothers parents Delbert and Flora Corbin witch were told were my parents and my mother and two sisters were told to be my sisters. I was beaten and mentally abused for 16 years lived in dirty house wile with in my first year my real mother abandoned me moved five miles away to new salum where she had three kids with her husband Harold Nuttall witch was also a teacher at the school my parents - grandparents dies ten days apart with in those ten days i was told of my real mother. and would live with her now . with no cancelling or help i berried the hert deep inside Her husband treated me like shit for those two years wouldn’t help me in Amy way but i worked hard on there farm or them .I graduated trade school in 79 and moved to Dartmouth now in BC .I you may be interested in wrighting this story please send me a note at cingal@hotmail.com thanks for your time Phil Corbin. The only one alive is Harold Nuttall her husband was my teacher as well and knew i was really dirty and abused then when i went to live with them he was abusive mentally. I endured this for sixteen year and may have never known ,wile they all lived in a clean house with lots of food i had to eat what ever was around . I never had bath my cloth were dirty I stank .I wasn't aloud to go out anytime after dark so no social actitiveity ,made fun of at school no friends wasn't aloud a pet of any kind couldn't play any music . Delbert Corbin My Grandfather wouldn't talk to me and treated me like i wasn't there . all the wile i had a half sister Cheryl Nuttall Phinney and Hal ( Harold ) Nuttall I didn't know anything about .there dad Harold tough grade 8 no one cared enough in Advocate Harbor to help. .
