When tail gate is down does it hit the light bar

My light bar arrived broken and only half of the light works. I contacted OPT7 and they are trying to up sell me. Telling me it’s not plug and play. Ben K. OPT7 Escalation Manager ARIES Lighting Team Is unwilling to help me at all. No refund no exchange. Buyers Beware! They like ripping off military members.

Good video. I want to add, that some aftermarket replacements (such as thee standard motor products one I got) have the same wiring clip as the acdelco replacment part you showed there, but they come with a small adapter harness to adapt to the factory wiring.

The bolts will leak. They go up and down with temperature and pop out and rust through. Put roof shingle on top of the bolts to shield them from UV light and rain and spray them with Flexseal which is not a permanent product but it is flexible with the temps.

Do your running lights work on the light bar??

I have been driving without PS for about 5 months now. I finally got a new unit from AutoZone miraculously. I’ll be putting in myself. I noticed in the video the sockets are all standard but I thought the housing bolts were 24mm and the steering by shaft was 13mm. Any clarification on the sizes of the bolts removed? Thanks.

How’s the tailgate open? I placed the bar equal with those humps on mine and the tailgate does not open without hitting on it.

my Tata (great grandpa) just gave me one, exactly like this one. and we started it and it ran then it would slow down and rev up then ran and stopped. im thinking its the motor cause its getting power to the switch and to the motor but it doesnt wanna turn anymore, can u help me out, i really like this compressor and want to restore it.

Did u have to reprogram the rack before the new one will work, or should the new one work right out of the box? Just installed a remanufactured one and it’s still showing codes and has no power assist.

I have a 2013 ram,lost power steering goin around s curve,always someone goin wrong with it,my 98 ram doesn't hardly ever crap the bed

fyi there is a belt inside the EPS… Mine snapped in half… mechanics wanted to put in a whole new rack in pinion… welp i opened the rack up and changed the belt cost less than 100$

Installed one from a junkyard that cost $1,000. DID NOT have to reprogram it. Thank God because this part is on INTERNATIONAL BACKORDER. I will never buy a Dodge again.

This happened with my 92 Accord... very stiff to shift in and out of park. Ended up taking it in to my local repair shop and they fixed it very quickly and for only a few dollars so i knew that it wasnt a big deal. This led me to look for videos on the subject and found yours... a bit too late but nevertheless very informative.

I know that this is an old video, but does anyone know what it takes to remove just the dash bezel (the large chrome plastic part that surrounds the speedometer/gauge area)?

@fscc6566 the alignment told me i had a bad inner tie rod its getting a bit shaky at hwy speeds. i pulled back the dust boots on both sides and inners are tight. slight play in the worm gear the inners screw into 1/8" maybe. does this sound like the issues you had? thank you!!!

2013 Dodge 1500. Just went out & cannot find the part anywhere!!

the 1500 costs more than $1,500 plus labor and you got to scam it to the vehicle. Electric always fails before hydraulics. Ask an ongoing OE LH body style owner. Get it lined up for sure. LH body style no need to touch tie rods at all. Much cheaper more durable.

I have the exact same compressor. That one looks hardly used, surprised it needed anything.

I can hardly express my gratitude for the time you took to put this fix out there for us. I have a 2004 Pilot and could hardly shift into Drive or back to Park. You provided the exact fix for my problem! A million thank you's !!!

All that work….just buy the adapter harness….takes 5 min….work smarter not harder…and they make a light bar for the 5th gen trucks…

Mines just went out! 2014 ram Laramie. Dealer wants $2700 for the part and its on backorder! Ram is dissappointing me at this point🫣

I thought your Video was thorough, however I was hoping you would explain how you were able to install the bar so that it would not get knocked loose by the tailgate wiring harness cord. (this wiring harness contains the Backup camera and tailgate locks) When I installed mine, when I lowered the tailgate, the light bar would come unattached. What am I doing wrong????

This was great. I went through this whole video. Unfortunately I learned my issue was the the 2 sets of bearings that are around the tub shaft were rusted and the ball bearings didn't run smooth at all. I am going to call this done. It provided 15 years of service. Thanks for the help.

I have a Fisher Paykel and someone made a mistake to cut my water intake hose in between the two fittings thinking it was a simple 3/8 hose that could be reconnected with a simple compression 3/8 fitting. It is NOT. The hose OD is close to .400. So, my question is, instead of getting a $70 genuine Fisher Paykel replacement plastic hose, are the threads on the soloneoid connector the same as any other dishwasher? In other words, can I used a universal dishwasher stainless steel braided hose with elbow commonly sold everywhere to reconnect my water feed to the machine? Thanks.

I used a cheap heat gun and it softened the glue up behind the chip then under cut it with a box cutter its much easier than i thought it was going to be.
