Van Halen “Women In Love” cover by Scoonie Gee
Going for one of Van Halen’s deeper cuts and one of their few slower songs with this cover of “Women In Love” off the Van Halen 2 album.
Diving into the lyrics and the story and feel of this song was really great!
The VH brothers groove is sick and Dave has always been a great story teller and paints a picture here that I am all too familiar with.
To think that he wrote this song, which is basically about lesbians, way back in 1979 and here we are today with this being a top subject in these times, is hard to believe but then again, it’s VH so nothing is impossible for them.
I love me some VH and especially the deeper cuts like this one. Hope you enjoy it too…crank it up!
