Great cinematography guys, we were there only weeks after you and you captured it brilliantly.
Thanks guys. We fell in love with this area and are already talking about our next visit with some plans for something very different. Hope you guys are well.
Holy crap thank you so much for this. I have not seen it shown like this before and adding it to our list right now. Man we will need more time on this trip.
You're welcome! Glad to help you add it to your bucket list! You will not regret it.
Man I so want to go back and visit this place again. Wow just wow.
Agree we can’t wait to get back there especially with. Ore time and our mountain bikes and even possibly the boosted board 🤔
The sound quality is amazing .The best i have hurd compered from form outher channels. It really stood out especially in a suround sound ser up. i felt as if i was in the middle of you two and the music was infrount. Nicly done team
Hey Charles thanks for watching. Thanks for that lovely comment. We will keep working in improving as we go. Still a little baby channel but we will get there 😁
We need some tyres will have to check these guys out. Super interesting to see behind the scenes.
Definitely go see them as they will look after you and make sure you get the best tyres for your situation.
Heart goes out to you both, what a beautiful soul! Grateful we got to meet Peejay this year. Thinking of you 😢
Thanks so much guys. Still can’t accept she is gone and lots of tears but we are focused on helping Ivy adapt to life with most her big sister. Hope you are both well and hope to catch up again soon. Matt and Leisa.
Get review , you made my mind up for me , only good things have been said about these tyres, top job thank you 👍🏼
Hi there. Definitely worth watching our latest video on them as we have spent a lot more time on them and found some short comings. Maxxis RAZR AT 811 | Watch Before You Buy | Fulltime Travel th-cam.com/video/VHWPfbJMr4Q/w-d-xo.html
I remember doing my first wheel alignment laying on the floor of the racq service center it was a bitch of job!!! But even more of a bitch at the race track with rope around the wheels after a little off! The equipment has come so far in 30 years
Yeah string alignment were terrible but only option back in the day.
You have been in our thoughts, it's never an easy time losing a loved member of the family. And even harder when you are separated from each other. Hopefully we can catch up with you guys next year.
Thanks guys so much. Yes we are hoping to catch up with you too.
Brad and Heather are so passionate about their products and the entire team are fantastic. Go see them.
They definitely are amazing at what they do.
This was a hard watch , so sad but thank you for sharing with us... she had the best life of Adventures! sending our love
Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a lot. I have been so wrapped up in my own space but Leisa told me last night of your terrible news. Glad to see things have improved but remember we are always here if you need anything. Love you guys.
Have very merry Xmas and a happy new year
Merry Christmas and happy new year to you and all your family. Bring on 2025.
I am still expecting PeeJay to greet me when I get home. It doesn’t feel real.
Yeah that’s how I feel every time I walk in the door 😢
:(
Love the snap shots into the little (big moments) things in life. Keep up the great work love the content. They say variety is the spice in life!
Thanks team appreciate it ❤️
❤ Pee Jay
😢❤️
Oh my god can’t believe you lost little pj. So sorry for your loss Matt and Lisa. ❤❤
Thanks guys we appreciate it.
While loosing a Pee Jay is painful, loving Pee Jay while she was on this earth was so worth it❤😢
Thanks guys that is lovely. We were blessed to have had her in our life and she will never be far from our thoughts and always in our heart.
Still can’t believe she is gone.
I know it’s doesn’t feel real.
You know what would be super impressive? Having your customer service team respond to emails regarding damaged orders. I have been ignored on every customer service platform you offer (live chat bot, email, Facebook messenger etc) since sending through photos of my damaged packaging, wet and used accessories, and unsealed products. I’m annoyed that I’m being forced to comment on your social media pages when this could have been dealt with privately. Feel free to dm me from here so we can sort this out, in the meantime I’ll keep an eye on the other threads of communication I have tried to open with you in case I manage to get a reply there 🙄
Hi this is Matt I’m sorry you had a bad experience that’s terrible. While we are not Salty Captain can you shoot me a message via either Facebook, instagram or our email filthyoffroadadventures@gmail.com. I will do my best to pass your message onto someone at Salty Captain in the hope you can get this resolved.
@@filthyoffroadadventuresmy apologies, in my frustration I have commented on the wrong page 🤦♀️ thank you so much for the offer of help, I’ll send you an email and hopefully we can somehow get this issue resolved
@StormyTeacup90 no problem at all happy to try help. We love the product but it’s only as good as the service provided so we are keen to try assist you. Matt
Message sent to them let’s see how it goes.
@@filthyoffroadadventuresthanks! Will keep you updated
I watched your install of the Ironman lift kit and you noted you'd do a follow up on how you like it, more in-depth, I couldn't find that video. I have a 2020 Gladiator Rubicon and am considering the Ironman as I ran them on my FJ Cruiser and liked them. I would love to know if there is a specific video title I should look for, and if you are liking the lift still. Thank you for your time.
Hi there thanks for watching. Yes I have not don’t that video yet however do hope to get it done over the Christmas period. I wanted to put substantial km’s on them to give a very thorough review. So with regards to what we think of the suspension. In short very happy with it. The springs have a nice feel and have retained their feel even after I think about 20-30,000km (will need to check to be exact) The shocks are still very good and the entire package give us total confidence and was a great upgrade from stock. They have been great wheeling, performing daily driver duties and also touring while towing and on some really crap roads. Personally bang for buck you can’t beat it. Hope that helps.
Stunning place but that sidewall demonstration blew me away I had no idea it could make that much difference.
Yes it is an amazing place more people need to see it. I thought it was a great demonstration of side wall strength.
Can’t wait till I get to drive those long country dirt roads
Won’t be long and you will be out there in your new build.
Breakaways/Painted Desert awesome! We did it opposite direction to you as you may remember. Really looking forward to your William Creek/Lake Eyre episode which is were we met.
Hey guys that will be in a few episodes time. Yes the painted desert was everything we hope and more. How are you both doing? Still on the road at the moment? How goes that stunning van of yours? Matt and Leisa.
Oh and also not sure if we told you bud we changed the build to have the Ogo toilet and the van should Be really mid January.
@@filthyoffroadadventures I think you will be pleased with the Ogo. Nearly 5 mths this trip, 14K kms. Went as far as West McDonnell Ranges then back down to "Cooper Pedy" sorry Leisa, then thru the salt lake country to Ceduna then up and down the Yorke, Eyre Fleurieu peninsulas, the Coorong Snowys then home until next year.
@davidlayton9099 wow what an epic trip that’s so cool. Hope We can catch up again on the road somewhere and enjoy a better chat around a fire and maybe talk vans 😂
Holy crap why have I not heard about this place.
Yep we are so surprised few people talk about it. Put it on your list.
Beautiful footage of The Breakaways. You captured it very well
It’s even better in person.
Unreal, I have driven up to Alice quite a few times, also stayed in Coober Pedy numerous times...but have never detoured off to the Breakaways... It's a stunning landscape.
Yeah it’s missed by so many people. It’s not a huge detour but think people are normally on a schedule so maybe skip it. Make sure you check it out next time through they are incredible.
Wow we have to go back that place is just stunning.
Agree totally can’t wait to go back and spend some time there.
Thanks for your Coober Pedy visit ! Pity you could only do a one day visit and only barely touch on our towns experiences ! No mention of the great restaurants in town / the free camping options/ The Kangaroo Orphanage/ Crocodile Harry's/The Wetlands/The Golf Course plus the many Opal Mine experiences.
Agree we barely scratched the surface. We will definitely be back to spend a few days. Sadly due to the accident earlier in our trip we lost almost a week. Need to look up Crocodile Harry’s and the wetlands did not know about them.
Hahah! Cooobeeeerrrr B B B!! Great episode team!! 🎉🎉
😂🤣 she still gets it wrong 🤪
Living the dream
Agree nothing better than traveling this incredible country visiting these amazing little towns.
It’s still so raw after loosing PeeJay but great to know that she had such a great trip and will be forever on here to make people smile. Miss you Peegee bear.
😢❤️ Still does not feel real.
Bless PeeJay in her little hard hat. Thanks for showing us around Coober Pedy
She was so damn cute hey.
Razr AT is an excellent road tire. Buckshot 2 is a great MT.
Yes I thought they were good on road. Sadly felt a bit let down in the end. If you’re interested I did a final review a few weeks ago. It’s here Maxxis RAZR AT 811 | Watch Before You Buy | Fulltime Travel th-cam.com/video/VHWPfbJMr4Q/w-d-xo.html
I wanna see Jason again!
We will be trying to arrange something in the near future where we can get Jase back out again.
Some interesting features explained by the tyre shop manager. Did he mention their weight (compared to the Maxxis and a KO2) and any balancing issues Cheers
That entires section of Brad talking was just out of the blue so not filmed very well sorry, but really knows his stuff. I still can’t find specific weights for the KO3’s sorry but using the “pick up scales” 🤣 I picked up our flogged and almost bald Maxxis Razr AT811 and then picked up one of the new KO3’s and I would say the felt almost exactly the same. I am sorry I didn’t have access to a scale but I will ask Brad to try and weigh one. I will have another video coming out soon of the entire fitting process etc and one of the things Brad talked about was how challenging the old KO2’s were to balance. These are significantly better and took very little weight. Let me know if you have anymore questions. Matt
3 things I take from this. Roos keep eye out! Jeep parts are $$. Not what matters said about keeping ur set up road worthy for insurance
Yes it’s significantly cheaper to buy the part straight from the US but we didn’t want to be sitting around longer. Agree we will always make sure we stay road worthy otherwise may as well not have insurance hey.
If my KO2’s are anything to go by I’ll be lining up for KO3’s when it’s time. Re. Gordon country I love the place when I choose to ride a MTB round there 10+ years ago. I love it even more now I been 4Wding out there. And Matt I had a amazing day thank you for letting me tag along and your guidance thought the day can’t wait to do it again
Yeah think KO3’s on the Navara would be great. Especially with your plans to still travel as well as wheel.
Glad you had fun. We will have to get some more trips in before we head off.
@ beach test!! Gordon county part 2!!
Next may be back at Gordon Country working on a Gladiator v’s ??? Possibly 2 popular utes. Watch this space 🤔
Thanks for keeping it real
If it can help people make a decision without sponsorship bias I’m happy. 😃
Tyres bored the sh!t out of me, but I like your hair. 🤣🤣
😂🤣have you been talking to Leisa. She gives me crap too 😂🤣
Hair is over rated
@@Adventurethewrightway Amen!
😂
🤣
I have had at least 4 sets of BFG KO 2 on a Pajero, XJ Jeep, Jackaroo and Honda CR-V. They are a great tyre in the mud, sand, gravel... Not good on wet roads. All behaved the same though they were fitted to different vehicles and suspension.... This is due to the flat road surface design and sipes that don't do much... The K03 hopefully rectifies this issue as the tyre design is different Good video 😊
Agree, with the last week of rain I have now had plenty of chances to test them and I must say they are very good. Keen to see how they go as we put my km’s on them.
