Man, i am not a fan of this trend of not speaking in videos. I would like to learn how to make a box like this and hearing some words explaining the process makings learning so much easier. I mean, thanks for making the video and sharing your work, i shouldn't be complaining because you are producing something for me for free and this is a lot better then no video. But ugh, just had to vent a little.

What did you use to make the holes for the stitching? Ive downloaded your pattern and my pricking irons don’t match the spacing. Have you just used a single hole punch and done them individually?

I added a strap on the outside and fixed it with a ball head stud. Beautiful pattern although the leather I used (veg tan leather 2.4 mm) was pretty stiff after dyeing. It took some persuasion with neatsfoot oil to bend into shape 😅

I bought your pattern and will be making this as my first ever attempt at leather craft!

What kind of leather do you use, pull up?

Make sure to watch this video before you start cutting! I assumed the scissor icon on the plan meant I should cut along that line. I ended up cutting two pieces in half and needed to use another piece of leather to do it right.

Do you think it would be possible to flip the bag inside-out when sewing on the back, then flipping it back when you're done so the back doesn't have a hard edge?
