In an Ideal World is a travel channel which promotes both popular touristic hotspots and off-the-beaten-path destinations all around the world.
Following on from the success of our other TH-cam channel, Poland Walking Experiences, which, as the name suggests, highlights the best places to visit in Poland, we’ve decided to start a new channel to cover our trips around Europe and, hopefully, beyond.
We’re not into publishing three-hour walking tours around cities. Our aim is to show you the life and soul of the destinations we visit in less than 30 minutes.
Essentially, we’re initiating a project that we should have started 8 years ago. To think of all the beautiful places we have visited in Cyprus, Greece, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands and England, to name but a few countries, where we didn’t put our cameras to use.
Still, that was then and THIS is now.
Let’s get the show on the road, beginning with a three-day visit to Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia.

🇭🇷 Late September/early October in Promajna, Croatia
Promajna was created in the 17th century, as a settlement of fishermen and farmers. The settlement, which is characterised by a long pebble beach, has around a thousand tourist beds in hotels and private accommodation.
Promajna is sandwiched between the larger resorts of Baška Voda and Makarska. Only 3.5 km away, Baška Voda makes for a nice walk from Promajna due to the beautiful, thick pine forests you’ll walk through, not to mention the views of the Adriatic and the islands of Hvar and Brač in the distance.
