    This popped in my feed. I remember I posted two years ago. I’m fully recovered now. It took four years. While it’s not sexy the best thing I did was stop trying to fix it. With time you stop noticing symptoms. Then you go symptom free for a few days and then you go completely backwards. But every time you go backwards you always progress further towards. If you’ve tried everything to get better and nothing worked unplug from all things pppd and live your life and with time your body will recalibrate

    i agree with everything. having such problems for the past 13 months. only last week did a doc suggest it might be BPPV. first doc had no idea. 2nd doc said stress. last week's doc sent me down a rabbit hole, also checking out cervicogenic dizziness, which also sounds what might be causing problems because of stiff neck/shoulders. anyway ony last week after 13months gave me any idea what the problem could be. And the relief and reduction in stress is noticable. had bloods tests, heart monitoring, eyes tests, all fine. I'm also more mindful of when im getting it and not getting it. your right about getting symptoms when you stand still or sit still , and right again about NOT getting it when you are driving. Although one time after many hours of driving, it hit me hard. but I put that down to fatigue and anxiety due to very difficult road conditions more than anything else.

    Please help me I went to many doctors but couldn't find a diagnosis. All the complaints in pppd are there, especially when standing still, crowded places, shopping malls, supermarkets are very difficult for me, moreover, when I talk to someone, I feel faint, but besides all this, I can drive, it doesn't affect me. Please help me. Nobody knows about this disease in my country. What should I do for pppd treatment? Thank you.

    I think I have PPPD. I had a lot of stress and anxiety and then I lost my son which destroyed me. A month or so later, I was at work and had a panic attack from fear of falling. It was bad and I had to leave that job. Soon afterwards, I began to have trouble walking. To be specific, when I walked on a smooth surface like tiles, I felt like I was slipping on ice. I felt like I was going to fall down. At the time concrete, carpet or grass were ok to walk on. After a little more time, I couldn't walk on concrete. Only carpet or grass witrhout the feeling of slipping. I wore sneakers with thick soles. I found that if I went down to a zero drop shoe with a natural rubber sole and the sole being very thin, this helped me to stabilize but I couldn't walk out in a wide open place without support or I would have a debilitating panic attack like I was going to fall. I use a cane most of the time now but if I hold onto someone, just even their clothes, I feel better and can walk without using the cane much. By myself, I can only be in an open area if I have my walker. I feel like I am swaying when I am standing and I'm either going to fall backwards or forwards. I go occasionally get vertigo and the whole room spins but that is rare. It happened much more requently before this all happened. I'm not working which sucks. I've been like this for three years now. I miss my son every day but I need to get my life back together. This is only making things worse

    So glad to have found this. So encouraging. Less eye exercises, more changing from within and bringing together the conscious and sub-conscious. I've had 4 years trauma with other health issue, which almost certainly played a part in the onset of my dizziness symptoms 8 months ago. The plan to recovery starts now.

    Can pppd be caused by sleep disturbances? I started work night shift more than half a year ago and the symptoms just started around the half year mark.

    • @balanceyourlifenow1651
      @balanceyourlifenow1651 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would say no, but sleep disturbances could make it worse. With pppd there is usually a trigger where something happened that caused the initial onset of dizziness and then have you responded to it is what keeps it there

I also get migraines and a have a lot visual issues..not been able to watch tv in years or go into shops due to much visual & audio stimulation . Even talking affects my dizziness.. it makes me feel very unwell. I also have bilateral vestibular loss and visual vertigo also as well as noise sensitivity.

    Hi everyone for anyone going through this, I’d like to share something that worked with me and helped me recover by walking. 1. Find a comfortable place to walk 2. Pick a point that is not moving and walk to that point. (Typically the smaller the object the better) 3. Focus on that point as you walk to it 4. Once you get to it, stop and pick another point and walk to that. 5. Repeat this as you feel comfortable 6. Remember to relax and focus

    Thank you for this video, I have literally had every single one of these in last 5 months, I agree with everything said here! I find these videos incredibly helpful and insightful.❤Thanks so much!!!! I had this diagnosed by an expert hospital after a neuritis vestibularis 1,5 years ago. I have one question, my biggest challenge come when processing information, like reading and just looking up information on screens. I just can't process, concentrate well and makes me feel unsettled, cold and overwhelmed. I believe in the philosophy and excersises here, but could these symptoms also improve by doing the vestibular practices, which feel more physical. What I do now is try and read or work for a short while 10-20min max and go to calming and safe feelings and also try to be relaxed and let go of tension while doing the work. Its really hard but could that be the way? Would be of enormous help to get your view on this. Thanks for these videos they have really given me hope and I see how the ideas align with bigger personal challenges so that makes me believe.❤

    Thank you, PPPD is not curable, so you have to live with it. you need to convince your self that you are totally okay and accept the fact nothing can be done. i am having it since 5 years and it appears to be worse with anxiety , stress and triggered from a neck pain or some emotional break down. what you can do for it? nothing, just do practice and try to live with it, if you got dizzy try to ignore it and find a seat but don't get anxious or panic because it will become even worse.
