Stranger Things Theme - Post-Punk / Gothic Rock Cover
มุมมอง 7527 ปีที่แล้ว
What if the Stranger Things theme had been recorded by late 70s Post-Punk/Gothic Rock artists like The Cure or Joy Division ? Cover by Barnabé Gauci I do not own any rights to this music, copyrights holders are Stranger Things composers Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein.
1:26 woah what?! That's really cool, street spirit have a really complex riff
That ending riff to planet telex is amazing
5:47 damn Thom's voice was falling apart lmao
Es el jonathan knight de new kids on the block un guitarrista de sobra
wow
Thom: Rhythm guitar + lead vocals Jonny: lead guitar and every other instrument ever made Ed: lead orgasm creator
There's not Radiohead's sound without Ed. You can see it in the separate works of Thom and Jonny. There's something messing without him.
Wow... Ed composed the main riff for Fade Out? Thom or Jonny wrote it
Ed wrote his part, yes
Quality video
He's very talented, I'd imagine you'd have to be,, just to be in that band
the way he creates textures for the songs is immaculate
5:18 damn, Thom’s singing is so bad here 😂😅 seems like he couldn’t hear himself well
The fact that ed composed the main riff to fade out shows how hes an amazing guitarist even though he is often the backup-backup guitar lmao
Ed didn’t write the riff to that song, Thom wrote it but Ed played it.
thats a massive nine inch attack right on the soul. Greatings
This is so satisfying.
I had no idea these were Ed's contributions. A lot of these were my favourite Radiohead moments. Thanns for making this video
One video of colin?,un video de colin?
nao acredito
I love all the musicians in Radiohead. They all offer something just right for band. Ed adds so much texture to theor sound. Even his background vocals are perfect. His background vocals on Wierd Fishes/Arpeggi are phenomenal. I love them as much as Thoms vocals. But, that is what Ed does, he adds so much in the background without taking over.
Honestly, I could hear this being on The Downward Spiral
Ed's playing on songs like Exit Music and How To Disappear Completely is nothing short of sublime. May seem simple but it requires a lot of skill and discipline to pull off. Ed's work is so subtle and precise that you may not even realize you're hearing it at times but that just shows how effectively he blends into the ensemble.
All of the best radiohead moments include Ed's gutar parts. You can never notice it, but it's always there. I rarely paid attention to Ed on stage, but this video has showed me how important he is and made me appreciate Ed even more 👏🏻
TH-cam, suggest this to more people.
WoW Barny! Let me give you a massive attack thank you for posting this gem.
I've never been more turned on by music in my life. 🖤🤘🏾
nice mashup dude !
tones, harmony and extra spacial textures rhytmn what he deliver
Required viewing for every Radiohead fan. The attention to detail is appreciated.
Colin Ed and Phil are so underrated as musicians
Most underrated band of the past 100 years
14:22 - wow thats actually Ed on the studio version as well?? Fuck thats gotta be one of my favorite moments off AMSP. I love the textures he adds to the songs, they dont even sound like guitars. Also the weird glitchy guitar he does on Morning Bell is one of my favorite bits of their whole discog overall. Ed is awesome
Hes amazing
Ed is one of many reason why Radiohead is so great to creates ambient
If you'll cut Ed from every Radiohead's song, it will be song but not Radiohead's
His guitar playing is what gives Radiohead its sound. There is no Radiohead without EOB.
Ed is a wizard
not easy to be in the same bad as Jonny
srsly i love ed sm
8:15
I feel like everyone here is showcasing their newfound grasp of the words “underrated” and “sonic landscape”. We get it. You can read.
5:00 Thom Yorke reacts to an actual fire
0:34 best moment
most normal radiohead member
We all know and appreciate Thom and Jonny brilliance, but it's just as interesting to see how Ed, Phil and Colin adapted and found their place in the band since Kid A.
Great reminder of how great Ed and this band are! Facking hell they're good.
I love when Ed comes in subtly at near the end of Pyramid Song live. Makes the live version that much better than the album even
The live performance of "The Numbers" is missing, such a great playing from Ed O'Brien!
I used to rave to my friends about the part on Exit Film and they told me to shut up, they didn't even hear it.
they are all great
thom's vocal at 5:50 in the climbing up the walls....lmao
Incredible creativity
Yeah, my favorite band in ghe world, but LOL indeed.
