I just had my sleeve done three days ago. I also had a pretty big hiatal hernia repaired also. I think this probably accounts for the pain running side to side across my chest. Apart from a little more discomfort than I expected, I hanging in there pretty good. I so appreciate all of these videos, even though most of them are a little older

Great job on your weight lost journey. Also great job on the way you presented the videos. Well done. I have my surgery in one month. I once thought about backing out. I love the taste of beer especially on a hot day. Like two beers once in a while. Never getting to the point of intoxication. Even carbonated water. I also love wings and ribs and southern mustard potato salad. Then I see how bad my son is coached while playing basketball. I know I can coach the team much better. Hating being one of those parents in the stands. So I need to lose this weight to help my family overall. Like you said, I need to save my own life. I want to be able to walk in a regular store and buy pants off the shelf. Plus, my family is planning to move back to the Philippines! Public transportation is out of the question at my current weight. Your videos helped a lot. Your choice of liquids to take will be very helpful too. That was the reason I started looking at TH-cam videos to find good easy liquid choices. Thanks. Your followers would like an update.

VSG Oct 7th this year. I could not agree with you more. I am almost a week out and every tv ad is about food…. today was my first day I felt like true hunger. And I definitely had buyers remorse… even while still in hospital.

4 year update???

Just had mini gastric bypass surgery yesterday. I went into this surgery knowing I would have buyers remorse, because I've been so comfortable stuffing my face with anything. But truth be told, there's not a lot of things that you won't ever be able to eat 2 months from now. You just can't eat too much or too often those things.

Don’t run! You’ll need those knees up. It’s unfortunate that playing football is so dangerous for the body.

I got buyer's remorse when I first threw up after gulping some water due to a tablet getting stuck. Funnily enough my sister also really motivated me

When I get a serious craving for something I sip pickle juice. That killed the craving.

Today is 06/26/2024. I go for my bypass surgery this coming Monday on the 1st of July. I do have misgivings but also want to live a while longer. I'm 66 years old. They are also taking my gallbladder at the same time and fixing a high adel hernia also.

I'm getting gastric sleeve surgery July 18th. I start my liquid diet July 4th. I'm 5'5 my current weight is 270 pounds, my goal weight is a 145 pounds.

4 years later how are you? I go for sleeve in 2 days 6/7/2024.
