You definitely excelled in music buddy, and you are a super guy to top it off. You have a special God given talent. We usually get out of stuff what we put into it most times. I have loved bluegrass music since a small kid. I told a friend the other day I would probably have been better on banjo, and guitar if I hadn't tried to play everything, lol. We were raised in a not very large farm house, and my mom would run me outside when I was learning banjo 🤣🤣 But I have really enjoyed my musical journey. I appreciate and enjoy your stories Shawn. Great stories sir enjoyed listening all my people on my mom side are from harlen ky my dad's side are from Lexington KY and both sides migrated north towards Ohio Cincinnati area for work so I grew up east of Cincinnati in brown county but have strong roots to KY both side of my family was musical oriented but me I have the ear but never really learned to play anyhow good luck sir.

Great story. It brought some memories back to me. I grew up a lot the same way, except for the tobacco field. I told kim the other night that my grandparents on both sides had an outhouse , she didn't believe me. Lol, as a matter of fact, when grandma passed on I bought the farm and gave the house to my sister, and she was going to burn grandpa's outhouse, so me and dad went And pick it up,and he still has it. Once again, great story

Awesome stories within the larger story. My favorite superhero stories are the origin stories. Thank you for sharing part of your origin story! People today that didn't grow up in Eastern Kentucky would be amazed at how different things were in the 80s!

Being a professional piano and antique refinisher for 50 years Sherwin-Williams lockers are way Superior I used to use star chemicals finishes they by far had the best spray canned finishes but when Mohawk bought them out they were crap and mohawk is the bottom of the line

Guitar does have a lot of punch as far back as you're playing it on the sound hole it still has punch
