I was very disappointed mostly because the lion king is known (at least for me) for sticking to the lore very well, like when it clearly says why kion wasn't in the big battle with kovu and kira. But with this movie this isnt the case for example when taka got his Scar from a lion and not a viper and got his name because he gave it to himself rather then his brother nicknaming him Other then some other things, amazing movie

This film is for fans not you

This movie was for the fans of lion king , of course it was needed . It made all the sense as to why mufasa and scar were the way they were . I felt it very heartwarming and it somewhat made the entire movie series tie up together . Scar only became a villain because he felt betrayed . For years no one knew that until now .

I appreciate this review.

This film was painfully annoying to watch.

Marc Webb as a director knows how to make web swinging cinema. Unfortunately the writing couldn’t carry its end of the stick- but the suit change, the musical score from Danny Elfman I believe and this thematic direction all together was beautiful.

Fantastic review man. I agree with some of your positives, especially the return of the voice actors and the look of the animation but I was sadly very disappointed by this film. Everything that I loved about the first film felt absent, the new characters were forgettable and even the story felt lacking to me. I just couldn’t get on board for the journey beyond the reef this time.

Amazing review thank you a lot I really appreciate these kinds of things as someone who doesn’t have the time to watch movies whenever they come out!

Lin Manuel miranda (who wrote some songs in the first movie like Your Welcome) didn’t return for the second movie, so i’m not surprised that the songs aren’t as catchy lol

Defying Gravity was iconic! I was speechless. When I listened to it on the soundtrack after seeing the movie, I actually cried reliving the movie in my head. All time best movie musical moment for me.

Totally agree with you ,,, I saw this movie and was sobbing throughout the whole movie ,bcz of how much good it was ... The cast , the set , the visuals everything went well together, no other cast could've done it better . 10/10 for me

Saw this last night and really enjoyed it! Gave me the 90s Christmas movies vibes at times.

I think it says everything that this movie has such a star studded cast and yet this is the first I've heard about it.

Everyone does have to agree it is better than Madame when and Madame web was piece of trash

Sister Paxton's monologue about prayer summed up exactly how I feel about religion. I was skeptical for about the first 30 mins, worried that it would fall into the same old religious tropes, but this was a pleasant surprise for me. Easily in my top 5 of the year.

I was mostly okay with the pace, although it was annoying to wait a week for a mildly interesting episode, but I completely agree with your points about Agatha and Rio's relationshp & the length of the episodes. Maybe they want to save some things for later projects

I love this show, but I felt let down by Alice’s trial. It seemed too fast and too easy. I really wish they had put in a complication before it resolved. Also, the episodes were so short!

I just came across your channel with this vid. Subscribed right after watching. I thinh your analysis is spot on. Strengths and weaknesses. I have not been a fan of the MCU TV shows so far. Loved WandaVision, but Agatha blew me away. I think this showrunner (Jac Schaeffer) *gets* that it is television and not just a film cut up into parts. Looking forward to watching your other vids.
