It’s 2024 and I’m new to Elder Scrolls; have been wanting to play but just now getting to it. So TYVM for making a simple video that explains it pretty well. I’m using a war axe with the soul trap enchantment on it, so I skipped learning the spell - there’s a lot of enchanted weapons with various effects and basically it’s one more way to fill a soul gem for anyone new. They are vendors chest, unlock them by taking quests from delvin and vex.

When you run through the quest line for the thieves guild, for each city of influence mission there will be another vendor. It starts with a Fletcher, next an armored, then an alchemists, and finally a smith. Take quests from Vex, and Delvin. It takes six quests to a city to get a city of influence one. When you're Guild master, I would rob them all then. Just be careful.
