Thanks for taking the time to make a video, I wish I had that skill since the videos are helpful. A constructive comment.....clean the tiny holes out on the side of the jets also. As another commenter mentioned, I use a thin wire from a wire brush for this task. If you don't clean those holes, the bike may still run like crap after reassembly. Randy
Thanks for the video! I can't figure out how to remove the throttle cables so I just cleaned it while still on the bike. Took the carb out of the boots and rotated the bottom toward me.
Mine was sticking also. In my case it had to do with a burr in the alignment slide groove. Drove me nuts for awhile trying to get it right. Finally located the burr, filed it down and all was good. Those slides are finicky
they make these little brushes that you can brush out the inside of your jets with id say thats your problem if not, then the carburetor probably need tuned
Thanks. Those pilot jets are so small they need to be cleaned every ride or two, or if put away without running the carb dry. I can leave the carb on the bike, just take off the bowl, and clean both jets in about 5-10 min. They say not to do it, but I always use a strand from a wire brush to clean, many years with no problems.
Great video, thanks. Was able to clean carb after watching. Great step by step and tool identification
Add a 30mm pumper carb for more cheap HP. th-cam.com/video/MJfyCQu8buU/w-d-xo.html

the throttle cables??
What about the one you said not to mess with if you didn't have to? My bike is still not 100% and I wonder if it's kinda clogged also.

How do you go about tuning it?
im not completely sure, ive never had to do it myself but it consists of new jets and finding the right air/ fuel ratio
