How remove connector
Don't use a flat head screwdriver to remove the relay. One of the pins is always live and the earth/ground pin is right next to it.
Thanks for the tip - others viewing this will benefit. Cheers
Seb, first of all I’m really enjoying watching your videos. Hope to see new ones soon. I’m curious how well the Yatour mic worked in your 360. My AirPod pros still pick up quite a bit of the 360 car sounds and people on the other end have trouble hearing me. I also noticed in your earlier videos that your 360 has a different stereo unit with the pop up screen. Why did you go back to the factory unit? Thanks and God BLESS!
Hi - thanks for the positive feedback. The microphone is working much better than I expected. Perhaps the mic foam cover is doing a really good job blocking out other noise. I replaced the aftermarket stereo and wheels with correct original parts, just because I'm a bit of a purist. Besides - I really don't listen to music much - this driving experience begs to give your exhaust full attention, unlike a modern car.
Great video. Very helpful. Nice to not have loads of techno music and fake drama.😊
LOL - thanks for the positive feedback.
You are proving to us all ,not to be afraid of the name Ferrari and DIY repairs. You just saved us a lot of money.....again Thanks!
Thank you for your feedback. I think the key is to buy the best pedigree car you can (one with up to date service records and lowest possible miles). I'm sure i'll have a big surprise at some point, but that's OK if it only happens every several years.
Nice to see a new 360 video from you Seb. What is your exhaust set-up?
Hi - thanks for the feedback. I have a Tubi exhaust (non-valved), so getting full sound even at low-speed / rpms and idle. I personally think it's the best sounding exhaust upgrade for someone that enjoys touring.
I wiped mine while still in the car. Still deciding if I want to spray them. If I did. I’d remove the plastic. Nice video.
Hi Seb, can you kindly provide a link to the exact Bluetooth transmitter you purchased? I ask as the ones I’m seeing appear to have 2 wires between the transmitter and connector compared to the one you show. Thanks a bunch!
Disregard. I found the link in your follow up video. Thanks
Great video and exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Nice job , your video is clear and your instructions very thorough, now all i need is to buy my 360 😢 , all the best with your channel.
Best of luck!
Hey Seb, do you notice any difference in audio quality between the Yatour and the unbranded amazon device?
Hi. To be honest, the quality isn't noticeably different, but I do now see less expensive BT transmitters with hands-free calling than the Yatour option I presented. Just search Amazon for Becker Ferrari Bluetooth Adaptor.
@sebssupercar2201 hey Seb, i ended up getting a 15usd one from Amazon and it works surprisingly well. Only tip for others reading this, go into the secret menu of your Becker and make sure to turn on "aux" 👌🏼
Nice one Seb. I don’t have a 360 but have a similar era Maserati GranSport that uses similar Becker head units. I had initial luck with option 1 but found it failed to connect automatically when I would get in the car and then it failed to connect altogether after a while and I’d have to pull out the head unit, disconnect it and then reconnect again but the same kept happening. Then I switched to an FM Transmitter (around $20 from Amazon) and that seems to be much better, at least so far. Thanks for the different options - it’s nice to keep the original head unit and add some functionality.
I've used the FM transmitter option in a couple of my C3 corvettes. Very easy for listening to music. But you may have just bought a bad BT unit. Suggest to try another option on Amazon - they're cheap enough.
You made the right choice! Hopefully one day I'll be able to afford a 360
Why didn't you just masking tape up & wipe the plastic switches down without removing them & panel ?
Thanks for the question. You honestly can't properly clean them without removing altogether, not to mention that the solutions have a bit of liquid and could short something out if you squeeze too much in between the buttons and the bezels. It was easy enough to just remove and do it right.
What exhaust are you using?
Tubi exhaust for Ferrari 360
Does it have the Speedo cable attached as per old cars or is it an electrical connector?
No cable. It's an electric connection on the back of the unit.
The 360 is a beautiful car an with a full exhaust its one of the best sounding cars ever
Nice video! Was looking at the houses in your window and was like hmmm, looks like houses from around here. I see your from Ontario! Cool! I am an automotive TH-camr also from London, ON, Canada. In the same delema right now.. gallardo, 360, GTR or trouble free c8, haha. Would love to see the 360 at a car show sometime!
The front luggage compartment can be opened manually by pulling a lever under the glove box if the battery is isolated. (RHD cars).
Thanks for the tip!
Could you please give me the link to the site where I can purchase the F1 pump relay? F 1 pump relay 40 amps F 1ポンプリレー40A購入サイトリンク教えていただけないでしょうか?
I purchased from Ricambi America. Here's a direct link to the product: www.ricambiamerica.com/155437a-f1-relay-alternate-40a.html
430 no timing belts, chains.
I love the way you have no qualms about removing any of the buttons, or latches, etc. Just like you are working on a Toyota Corolla! Fantastic, appreciate the nice details.
I'm trying to decide between the same exact three cars. Ahhh, I can't decide. Same situation, Ferrari testarossa picture hanging over my bed at the age of 5.
Any thoughts on the 360 spider - over the Modena?.....
I personally like the looks of the coupe (Modena) over the spider, especially when the top is up. Having owned 3 corvette convertibles and not many days of driving top down here in Ontario Canada - I don't think it's very practical for our climate either. But you do you :)
Seb - how often do you drive yours. Seems it’s either garaged one with low mileage or high mileage driven ones.
I don't drive her as much as I'd like, but not because I'm afraid of putting the miles on or getting her dirty. Just a very busy stage in my life with family - so she does several short trips and a few long drives with the wife. Only get about 500 Kms a year.
I knew back in 1999 when the 360 came out that I would eventually own one. I finally got mine almost 2 years ago!! My mom still sends me pictures of corvettes that she thinks is my car though 😂
I've had my 360 Spider for almost 2 years and love it for all the reasons you mentioned. My friend put a new clutch in mine about 200 miles ago. I have a 2001 and put a newer TCU in and with the new clutch I absolutely love it and don't plan on doing a conversion like many are doing.
As always, enjoyed your videos. I’ve always been an American muscle car guy. Had my share of Chevelles, corvettes and alike. Last year we decided to move from Oregon to northern Portugal. Transportation of a car to the EU and getting it legal on the roads is very expensive and difficult at best. Well, along came my Ferrari dream. Sold my midyear corvette along with other items and purchased a F430 before even getting here. Absolutely love it! We plan some trips to France and Italy but the roads in Portugal are not bad either. Again, thanks for the videos and keep sharing the passion.
That's fantastic and good for you. I've owned two C3's and one C6 corvette before graduating to the Ferrari 360. I love it and haven't looked back.
How did you determine it was the pump relay that was bad? What symptoms did the car show and did you use a Leonardo tool?
See my other video about the replacement. I heard a long squeel after a long drive from the engine compartment. F-Chat members suggested it was a faulty F1 pump which is a common problem, needing replacement regardless. So I did that, and the problem has never come back.
Had been a Ferrari fanatic since I was kid also, been a journey. The only thing I found to be problematic for me is the F1 transmission, either the synchro, sensors or pump having issues
Congrats ❤ i had to sell my f430 when i got broke still sad about it it was a 2009 black f430 coupe
Better to have loved and lost that never loved at all.
Wife and I just watched your vid last night and you wont believe it but today while getting smog check the f1 pump started screaming then a whisp of smoke. I checked relay and it was toast. Coincidence !
That's an odd coincidence. You can switch it out yourself - easy,

Steering column covers look like they need a re coating 🧐....any suggestions for that?...🧐.... Excellent presentation 🧐😎👍
Thanks for the compliment. Recommendations from others was to use SEM Trim Black # 39143. It's a little pricey. I bought a can on Amazon, but never wound up using it as the finish turned out fine for me after cleaning the sticky off.
Excellent presentation 🥇🏆✨..... informative and inspirational ✨👍
Thanks for that 👍.... Excellent presentation 🙏........
I love it!!!❤❤❤❤
Excellent video for detailing the removal steps. I used this to replace the backlight panel on my 360 cluster that had gone out. Thanks!
Glad it helped. Cheers.
puoi darmi delle informazioni ? puoi darmi la tua email ? devo sostituire il pannello che si è spento pure da me
where did you get the new paddles from?
I got lucky - The previous owner had purchased the silver paddles and never installed them. I installed them because I preferred them over the flat black originals. These may be from a Ferrari 550 or 575 Maranello, as I've seen silver paddles on those. You can purchase carbon fibre paddles from many etailers online - just google. Cheers.
Great job and special thanks for going slowly and thoroughly!!
Will you be doing a video on removal of the glove box button?
Thanks for the Question. Yes - that's pretty much my last sticky button fix, but may be a while now that the weather is warm here and I'll be driving more than fixing I hope. There are quite a few steps in removing the glove box button. Stay tuned!
Great video! Where did you source the yellow tach?
I purchased from www.prosport-ferrari.com/ in the UK. Be careful - there are some on Amazon that don't quite match the Ferrari OEM gauges - these were the only ones that I could find that do.
Hi Seb, great video…. I have the same issue on my Modena with the sticky buttons and its just really annoying to say the least. Where did you source the news decals from? Cheers Phil
Hi Phil. Rob from Stickynomore.com was kind enough to sell just the decals to me. They are expensive little stickers, but still fair considering his business is build on doing the complete part restoration, so well worth it in the end! Give him a shout.
HI! I've only been following you and I'm very grateful for your videos of this fabulous Ferrari. I love this car madly and I hope to be able to buy it one day... I really like this modification, I've seen that many people do it, I would also do the red garlics and the yellow background so it gives a green Pacmam effect, what should be done to make it yellow when it's on?
Thanks for the compliment. There are some other web posts of people that have painted their dials red - which is a great look. I don't mind the original white dials on yellow tach. The tach lights up nicely yellow as is.
Thanks for sharing this seems to happen eventually on all 360 and 430 models. Mine let go 2 years ago and the leather headliner has been sitting in my basement ever since. Now it looks like I can tackle it myself as I couldn't find a local shop that was confident enough to do the job for me.
Hey - this one stressed me out as I thought I'd need a professional upholsterer too. But honestly, the install was fairly easy if you can get a second pair of hands to help you. Hardest part was actually removing the old an decayed foam from the ceiling without getting it everywhere. Just drape a lot of old bed sheets all over the interior of the car, seats and dash before doing that. You need a smooth ceiling surface to adhere to. Good luck - let me know how it turns out. You can do it!
Nice work 😅
Which I had this problem🥲
