Very informative, thank you!
Are the fast food places at the square by terminal 2 are open on Sunday ?
How much train tickets?
Is Uber service available into the city? If so where is the Uber pick up and what is the median price for Uber
Helpful. Thank you.
Great video, very detailed. As a solo traveler arriving in Munich for the first time, I like to have an idea and see where I am going, how to get to the train or other transportation. I’ll be taking the train to downtown station and another train to Nürnberg. Do you know if I can get tickets for both trains on the DB app, or do I have to get them separately, one from MVV and one from DB?
Hi Susan, thanks! You should be able to get them both on the db app.
The s-bahn does not cost €27 for a single ticket, a return maybe!
Thanks for highlighting that. It's 11.50 for the single. 27 is for the partner card carrying upto 5.
going to Salzburg, which side of the train has best views? thank you
Excellent information,Thank you very much!!
Really happy you found it useful Henry!
They should have mentioned this man there. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josef_Müller_(CSU_politician) and this woman en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pascalina_Lehnert but did not mention either of them. They did mention Rolf Hochhuth though although he was successfully sued for libel.
Thank you. As a relative, where can I find additional information or visit?

Thanks!
the best video. TKS.
Thankyou!
Re: rail fares. The Bayern Ticket (day ticket Euros27) is valid for Salzburg as Salzburg is the first stop outside of Germany. A great value!
Absolutely! However people should also know the Bayern ticket is not valid on ICE or Railjet trains. Only the regional express.
Thanks for sharing a well detailed explanation… indeed a helpful video for many ☺️ Where do I store my large luggage in the storage unit in terminal#1? Where is it located? Much appreciate your help.
Wow this is so helpful and you’ve made it super easy to navigate the transportation journey..
Thanks Chris!
just watching this video till end, and thanks for sharing
Pleasure!

Does the tram say documentation center? Doing this tomorrow. What's the best way to book round trip train tickets from Munich?
You can get a bayern ticket from the ticket machines in Munich. Yes, the tram indicates documentation centre.
@alunevans4192 Thanks mate! Also is it less expensive to buy tickets at the station or on the app? Thanks again! Came all the way Texas
Same price I believe. Enjoy your trip.
@@jet0577the app is giving out slightly cheaper tickets! I know this is a bit late but might help someone who‘s visiting soon
Excellent, going to munich in may, thanks you
Great! Enjoy Munich and thanks for your feedback.
Nice video. When was it taken?
Thanks George! 5 months ago.
The Residenz is even bigger, and much more magnificent, than Buckingham Palace.
Never been in Buckingham palace Tony, even though I'm a Londoner 😂. I'll take your word for it though.
How can a country like Germany, that built such magnificent buildings, could descend into the barbarism of Hitler and his Nazis, which started in Munich.
Between 1346-1353, there was a mass slaughter of German Jews during the black death. Anti-semitism has existed in Europe for centuries and not limited to Germany alone.
The Jews of Germany were certainly safer when Germany had kings and Kaisers
I will be doing a Nymphenburg palace video very soon. Your right, it's splendid.
Nymphenburg Palace is even better for architecture, gardens, furniture, art, statues, etc. and a fabulous collection of horse carriages.
I took this train I hated the journey but loved Salzburg
The regional trains can get very crowded in high summer Scott. I suggest the Railjet or ICE. A bit more expensive but worth it.
Thank you for sharing this informative video! I will there in mid April. Will the S-Bahn take me to Fussen? Thanks!
Hi Marissa, thanks for your positive feedback. The sbahn, does not run to Fussen, you need to get a regional train from Munich main station. It's the line that runs to Neuschwantein castle. Will be making a video for that trip hopefully this summer.
@munichtourtipstv7237 A quick search shows Lufthansa Express to be significantly cheaper than taking the train; an adult ticket is 12euros. Would you say time duration would be about the same based on waiting for shuttle and traffic, compared to the train?
As mentioned in the video, time of day could influence your choice because of traffic. Rush hour journey time might be longer by coach.
So to arrive at Passau, would I need to go the City Center first and then transfer to another train?
You can get a 635 bus from the airport to freising. There, you can pick up a train to Landshut with one change to Passau. A quick google will make things clearer but you don't have to go into the city first.
I really enjoyed watching your video!😃
Appreciate that. Thankyou!
all you do is get on the train ( no loos )
I guess you mean are there loos on the trains? No, not on sbahn trains. Plenty in the airport though!
we are talking about the train to / from the airport from munich, NO LOOS . how hard is that ti understand and what bollox are you tripping on? @@munichtourtipstv7237

Thank you for your great video as I'm arriving at terminal 2 and plan on catching the bus. Do I pay the bus driver when boarding the bus? Thank you..
Hi Stephen, yes you can pay the driver as far as I'm aware but check the link I sent
Hi, where do you get the coach tickets to the city and how much are they please.
believe me people , take the fastest train you can affrod, the slow one takes around 3 hours stopping everywhere!! ....i know, mine got cancelled and i was forced to take the slowest available!
Sorry to hear about your experience Bob. Normally the journey time is between 1hr 5mins and 1hr 30mins. There have been problems with the trains lately, my guests have told me. Hopefully this gets resolved asap. All the best
i have a lot of connections in munich and they say that DB railways are a victim of their own success, there are trains leaving in the small hours too, i do not know how they get any maint. done?@@alunevans4192
@@alunevans4192 it's ok,my cousin in munich explained it all to me, German railways are a victim of their own success , downtime for maintenance is very tight
I like the Christmas market in front of terminal 2 Itcwas nice last memory fro München
Great tip Sharon!
We'll be there soon, so this is very helpful! Waiting for your video on recommended beer houses and restaurants. :)
Great idea Dennis! I will be covering the beer halls of Munich asap.
Great to hear!@@alunevans4192
@alunevans4192 the wirtshaus in der Au must be included 😅
At this right moment I belong to your group. I saw your first video during your walking in the city of Salzburg last year. I also know Munich. It's a nice city as well. Good day friend! Daniel from Rio de Janeiro.
Thankyou Daniel! Your positive feedback is greatly appreciated.
@@alunevans4192 thanks buddy!!!
Fascinating.
Thanks Dennis!
Can I use German pass for S bahn?
Salzburg is a great city..
It could have been a disaster,, Cancels USSR invation, focus on England- then jets and missils.. Then we all would speak German now
Very unlikely. The Nazis had significant military capabilities, but they were never going to be able to win. Hitler had doomed Germany to a humiliating and deserved defeat long before this speech. There was no going back after they'd committed national suicide by serving him.
Well, we disagree.. In any case, just a mind game.. @@Nupetiet
@@HerrStaale Yup! Speculative history is exactly that: speculative. Still, isn't it fun?
Excellent video, thank you!
Thanks Dennis!
Wouldn’t the Bavaria regional day ticket get you there as well?
i don't think that covers ice trains does it? the other 2 types are 15 euros one way
@@bobtudbury8505 yeah that’s right had to get here and look over the ticket to figure it out 😂
The regional day ticket gets you there but only on regional trains with a train change in Ingostadt (1 h 46 min) or on a direct local train ( 2 h 49 min). The InterCityExpress train takes 1 hour and 6 minutes.
Thankyou very much! Excelent video! Iam Brasilian. I live in here of Brasil. My dream is one day to know Bavária: Munich, Garmich Parthenkirchen, Zugspitze, Ramsal, Füssen, Schwangau, Obersee, Konigsee. I like much Deutschland!
Thanks a lot,can you introduce German villages and how to do and pick the best route for two weeks,
Dear viewers, as mentioned very tactfully by somene in the comments, there are a couple of images in this video that aren't actually from Nuremberg. This is stick footage that somehow got in the mix. Apologies, the vast majority is filmed by me in Nueremberg. ❤
Dear Host, I come from Nürnberg and I appreciated your daytrip very much. Really well informed with accurate information. But I guess some pictures shown are accidentally mixed up with sceneries from Dresden (..I guess, just to let you know)..best whishes
Thanks Marco. Sometimes editing can be challenging and mix ups can occur. Appreciate your feedback.
Very nice video! Very well presented and produced. Thanks for sharing.
Many thanks. Delighted that you enjoyed it.
