I disagree that the globalist enterprise produces the highest quality products. Instead, it prioritizes mass production and floods the market with inexpensive goods, undermining indigenous arts and crafts, family-owned businesses, and economic stability. Furthermore, it contributes to the destruction of these smaller entities through sanctions, wars, and ignorence.

One of my fondest memories as a child in Karachi was visiting Zameer Dada’s home and enjoying the space he had created. It was a child’s dream hide and seek space filled with beautiful design and water ponds and structures. That 5 year old girl never knew how much his designs would be a big memory of him.

I recommend all contemporary architects to carefully listen to the design philosophy based on which Mozhan designed Koc University. This will also help architects to understand the great idea that was behind development of Agha Khan University Hospital Karachi Certainly a Fantastic and radically different approach towards architecture where he regarded the human aspirations and scale as dominant element of planning where he created human spaces and let the functions appropriately find way giving regard to the human element which can neither be liberated from his past nor be ignorant of future technology and cultural changes Architect Hafeez Habibi

Murtaza, I just finished watching this interview with Mozhan Khadem. Congratulations, it is a great interview and we learnt so much about how the development of AKUH came about. He’s a great designer and philosopher. When he started with his design philosophy and talked Rumi and Attar, I knew he was my kind of designer. This is the philosophy that I was also trying to instill in my designs when I was working in Karachi, if you remember. But people were not ready at that time. AKUH happened only because the force behind it was the Ağa Khan. Kudos again and tell Mr Khadem he’s got an admirer in me.

I agree partially but sir before calling young architects a "disappointment" why don't you have look on educational system architecture students are studying in. What kind of instructors are there, What kind of bias teaching systems we have with bunch of demotivating individuals playing the role of a "teacher". No doubt research is most important when it comes to architecture design but young students tend to find shortcuts because of the toxic environment they are studying in. Nobody talks about it , I don't know why and what they fear. But, as I graduated 3 years back I can tell you from my experience, I have been demotivated several times to the point I was close to quiting, suffered from anxiety for 2 years straight my grades went really really down but I stayed put only because architecture was my passion. Ended up getting distinction in my thesis project. No doubt there are some exceptions e.g good teachers and people who help a student grow. Sir, why don't you look from a different perspective? I mean, I could say the same for the educational system and methods of this country. That's what real "disappointment" is. You see, every generation is different and unique from the previous one. why don't anyone question the teaching system and environment, which by the way is more like political environment to be honest. It's not always the fault of a student, could be other way around. If people around these students, rather than telling them they are "disappointment" starts saying "we believe in you ", you can do it, just do the hard work, give it your all, relax, research and start producing some ideas," guide them like a mentor. I can assure you, they will do wonders!!!
