Hey Khadijah, it means you don’t have the correct field in your questionnaire. For it to show it must be a yes/no field. So look at the outcome variable you want to run, is it in a yes/no field? If no, then you may have to go back and put it in the correct form first. I hope this helps?

I am doing Bachelor of Pharmacy year 5 (final year). I trully appreciate what you are doing in TH-cam, particularly from a final year student such as myself. I am currently working on my research. Am initilly at the phase of creating forms before I go out and collect my data. The presentation for my research will be done this year 2024 on November after completion of this research project. I watched some the videos you upploaded which helped me download and use epi info in my computer and android phone. The epi info application works perfectly on my android phone after I downloaded it from the website. I am accessing the sample questionniars in my android phone. When I sent my template form my computer to my phone and tried to load it, initially it did not work except the sample forms that were there. I had been transfering my template form to my phone using bluetooth but the form could not load in the android epi info application at first. But when I tranfered the same form from my phone to a different android phone apparently it opened and I could see the questions. But some fields in the form did not appear as it were in my computer. Few fields or questions happened to move to other locations on the canvas in my android phone. Secondly, when I transfer the same form from my computer to my android via email it did not work at first. But I when I edited the form in my computer as a different template and resend it to my android phone it loaded and the form opened. But still some fields did not stay as it was in my computer. So am guessing that the cause may be due to the limited features and programs in my android phone. So I realized that editing the template in my computer and resending it back to my android phone seems to work at bit. So am taking this approach now.

Great question! When the expected frequency is 100%, then there is no need to even carry out the study because you already know the answer. Try even putting it into the software, you will see that you come up with zero sample size. I hope this helps?

Great question Komolafe. In case there are no previous studies, you have 2 options. 1. do a pilot study (mini study) to get a prevalence that you can use for the calculations. 2. Use 50% prevalence which will give you the maximum sample size. I hope this helps?
