Private Garden Oasis? Where? That garden is not private.

Trash and drugs is a big truth, but something that you didn't mentioned are the conditions of the roads. I'm not talking about the interstates, or the roads where the beautifull buildings and the market place are. The last time I stayed in Philaderphia back in 2021. I stayed 2 weeks and I drove the whole city. By that time, I would rate the roads condtions fair, but then in 2023 and recently in 2024, wow some of the roads, in special the ones that connect to the airport, look like they received air attack, a lot of holes, cracks. I hope the new administration pay more attention to all the 3 major topics: drugs problems, trash, roads, because what you and some others are showing is the beautifull parts, but behind of that is were the reality is hidden.

Born & raised in Columbia SC, lived in Atlanta GA 7 years. I live in Albany NY now almost a year, and thinking about moving to Philly once I upgrade from CNA to LPN. Also I have my CDL, so I considered driving SEPTA.

Philly is broken. The black youths are out of control with the mass shootings, some are in very nice neighborhoods. And nobody is getting caught. Police are selling their old weapons and they're winding up in the hands of these troubled kids. People are scared to death to move to Philly.

This guy no's nothing about that city except for the Rich,its done finished its emty of Blue Color,they were chased out.Noplace to park,like NY a city hall thats useless,we fought back you dont, you just Move with your riches,you would point your finger at us and call us racist,now it makes me laugh when i see its YOU now being the victim, and you dont know what to do.Soon this city going to be the Filthy Rich and Projects,and noplace is safe.They will clean up K&A because Temple wants that land and the new houses are already being built,those addicts are not even from Phila.,but when they are gone because the rich say so, when the Poor PR, wanted it cleaned up they did nothing,i wonder how all of you will get along.You cant chase them out.NE may look nice but its far and looks can be deceiving,i remember Phila in its PRIME,was great but you will never see that again.

One thing ive come to appreciate about Philadelphia row homes - small or grand - are separate kitchens I'm really not into the open concept anymore. Am I alone in this sentiment or is the industry changing back to separate kitchens I dont mind open dining living rooms but open kitchens I dunno, i just dont like them anymore

Excellent video This is how I see Philly as a new resident. Yea it had its issues what major city doesnt Its not as bad atls the media makes it seems I did realize while watching this that i do not like square parks, from Jackson Sq to Washington Sq i dont like them Know idea why

I been here 2 long n if there were somewhere that can be livable I would n affordable again I would. 6:56 haven't had a car in 14 years and major reason why i picked Philly; however biking here seems dangerous. Ive biked daily for 18 years in nyc, the Bay Area, Dallas, los Angeles, atlanta and new orleans, but havent dared considered it in the year and half ive lived in Philadelphia Honestly Philadelphia has rhe most dangerous drivers ive seen in any American city

Oh yeah north of city hall has South restaurant and a few venues I've enjoyed live music

Also Old City is not that girl. It has a creepy heavy vibe like visiting a plantation or Berlin just a get me the F out of this neighborhood Graduate hospital is my 2nd favorite area outside of West philly And love the walk ability of Spring Garden

@livingincentercity it's about to be THAT girl and if I were you I'd pivot to showcasing this part of the city. I'm new here, bout year and half, from New Orleans, and the gentrification in the west is rapid and makes sense based on infrastructure - trolleys and market/Frankfort line, and insanely fabulous parks like Bartmans garden and Cobbs creek. Cobbs creek is an insanely gorgeous park and area and utterly serine to have in the city. And all the homes have good bones Also shout out to West Philly tool library *They say the more comments you add the more the algorithm suggest channel, hope it helps
