Wet Sanding orange peel in preparation for Flow Coat or re-clear
1997 Honda Prelude that will receive 5 layers of clear coat once completed. Vehicle was painted 7 years ago but was in storage. Just completed all Mechanical repairs and I am preparing the car to receive an additional 2-3 coats of clear coat. Showing how bad orange peel can be wet sanded down to give you a truly Like glass finish. Tomorrow we will clear coat the car.

I've had well over 30 cars and none of them could ever match the joy and comfort of this grand marquis. Boy did the leather seats heat up in the summer though 😅

I was fortunate to be able to purchase in January of this year a 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis LS 50th Anniversary Edition one of only 250 built with this trim package in dark blue metallic with full blue carriage roof and gold exterior trim and trunk lid luggage rack in showroom condition with only 67,000.0 miles. I am the second owner and it is the most comfortable car I have ever owned.

@@JulianJ58 Thanks for your comments. I was fortunate to find this car as I have wanted a Grand Marquis for a long time but could never find one in such good condition. My local repair dealer happened to buy it from the family of the original owners who had passed away. The family did not want the car so they sold it to Bundy Motors in Tolland, Ct. who I purchased it from. They ( the family ) called it a " Grandpa car ". My other two cars are a 1987 Ford Crown Victoria Wagon and a 1991 Ford Crown Victoria LX Wagon in similar Tan colors. All are great cruisers and the wagons due duty as tow vehicles for my boats.

Thank you very much. I recently purchased a 1997 Thunderbird with 80k miles and a 4.6 V8. It drives better than a Mustang due to the IRS rear end which i will be restoring due to sun damage in the paint.
@@ze_german2921 last year of that style too I think! That or 98 was… I almost had a 97 thunderbird lx fully loaded for my first car it was nice. That was years ago but I do like them still
