I think, it depends on the setup you use. It is possible for a nitro to be faster than electric if you are willing to spend tons of money but generally the electrics nowadays (lipo bats and brushless) are faster with more torque. Nitro, however, has the noise, the smoke and looks like the real thing more. It has also many things to touch (the needles, fuel etc). The electric once you place the esc, it is ok. The good thing with electrics is that you can run them inside home while if you do that with a nitro, you are dead!

27 huh, not like I needed to know how old you are, Either why it sounds like you have no clue on how to control these RC cars, A real race car at 50mph hell lets say 150mph is far more able to be controlled at them speeds due to shear weight, regardless of air flow, yes it would help but with an RC car the weight usually isn't balanced like a real race car, having spoilers do help, but wont help it steer or stay in control but stay on the ground. Figured you would know this by now.

Videos of team associated building a car that is at 200. dirty ground or not it isnt hard to clean if you know how to push a broom. I have raced real cars and r/c cars and throttle control is sometime what wins a race if the surface isnt that great. Get some experience in doing research before you rant

Depends, If it has no weight in the front end and your all out for speed, its gonna be uncontrollable, even with throttle control. It even depends on the tires, or even the servo saver, if the words fastest RC can go that fast, I doubt that it would be controllable on dirty asphalt like this video. Get some experience before ranting about throttle control.

Yeah electric might be faster but it will always be what you prefer :) ... and haha both nitro and electric will give you the same driving experience at that high speeds :P and then nitro got the sound 3

nitro cars can be turbo or supercharged and can be nitrous injection/nos plus a high percentage of nitro in the fuel ,they can be very fst like that

The electric RC in this video seems very sluggish so I wonder what kind of setup it has? The Nitro looks fast but I wish I could race it against my Ofna setup. I have owned nitro and electric RCs and have not yet found any nitro RC to beat my brushless Hyper 9e (Tekin RX8 and T8 setup). But im sure there is lots of nitro setups that can, just doubt they could have the acceleration of an electric off the line.

to much down force to the rear you should try cutting the wing about 1mm or just lowering the rear of the body. cheers
