hello i cant find bake option in blender 4.0
You need the flip fluids addon for blender
Can you make a tutorial of the Fluid surface texture sequence or upload the sequence?
Amazing! Do you have a tuto for this? Thank you for all your work.
My rx 580 will sucessfully fail doing this
Hey dude! I think you're the best at Flip Fluid I've ever seen, amazing work! I'm working on a short film project and I have some questions that you could definitely help me with haha. Do you have Instagram so we can chat, or can we talk here?
Looks like someone forgot to add shade smoothing to their ocean...Other then that, looks very good my friend. Keep it up.
the only thing that should change was at the beginning it looked like the waves didn't start until the video started
Definitely one of the best small scale water sims ive seen on TH-cam. Nice to see a cup that isn’t getting filled with oil or an ocean
Great render! That's quality right there... I was wondering how did you "keyframed" the inflow to start and stop at a specific time?
On the inflow object there should be an enable button and if you right click it you can set a key frame for on and off
How are people THIS good?
Render time: 542:231:329 Hs
Fantastic, thanks!! A question..... The base ocean material looks quite bland, even with foam/spray/bubbles etc... How would I add a more realistic material to the fluid surface? I tried, but the tiling is so tiny and looks terrible?
You could try a procedural texture using a noise node this shouldn’t give any tiling but may look worse if you don’t get the setting right
Could you try small arms calibers against AR500 steel and AerMet 340 alloy?
I can do ar500 steel against small arms but there isn’t enough info about the AerMet steel to model a material on it
@@sahrib3901 What about Shock Resistant Steel? It's around as hard as AR500 steel but it is apparently meant to withstand mechanical shock and I'm curious how that translates into ballistic resistance.
@@sahrib3901 Alright, Idk what stats you need on it for Ansys to do its thing but I can probably find it. Or does the model need more than just properties?
@notachair4757 I need the Johnson cook parameters but those are only obtainable by rounds of testing
@@notachair4757 It has been a while but I've been working on a lot of materials and now I have an AR500 material and S-7 shock-resistant steel if you still want me to do small arms
I'm curious about how the fluid simulation progresses without the boat moving. After conducting several experiments, I'm curious because it seems like a lot of calculations are performed compared to the tutorial video you posted.
Can you explain a bit more I don’t really understand the question
Awesome thanks
Can you do 30x90mm HVAP from the mk103 cannon vs sherman roof?
video coming in the next day or so
gg mais il y a un bug ta oublier de mettre le fond en effecteur sinon je fais aussi du blender www.youtube.com/@BlendEden
Great simulation. What is the material you used for the M82?
I think I used a 600 Bhn steel which now I realize is way to soft and weak to be a projectile steel
I think it is good but you need to increase the hardness. Is there is a chance for sharing the material file. @sahrib3901
I just get my materials from the simulation bros discord channel discord.gg/Xc4Grjjj
Thanks a lot!@@sahrib3901
Where is the Flip Fluid??
Flip fluid is a type of liquid simulation solving method that was used to solve this simulation and I also used an add on for blender called flip fluids
gbu-24 VS t-72 roof...... :P
А точно взрыв из середины снаряда начинается?
Can you do 40mm hedp grenade? M433 and m430 with the the shaped charge. Against anything you want. A practice m781 could be funny too
At the moment I can’t do heat simulations due to computational limitations but if at a later point I get a better computer i will try
doesn't it have a heat warhead
There are multiple wartheads that the hydra can use but for this sim I used the HE warhead because right now I don’t know how to do heat simulations yet
Hi man, nice channel, thanks for these videos. I have a request: M1A2 SepV3 vs Khinzal
I mean I’ll try but the sim will probably look like shit because there isn’t much info on the missile and the warhead is quite large
it took, 56 hours to render and 20 hours to bake? What GPU are you using? This shouldn't have taken nearly that long
I used my cpu because my gpu ran out of vram
@@sahrib3901 Oh? Does using the CPU make it use regular ram instead? If so, that could be rather useful for me
@games-galore9647 yes it is a lot slower but you can render bigger scenes
you start with a domain of 64-65. What's the end domain resoltion you used?
In the end like i showed in the video the resolution was 300
고맙습니다
BRO I WAS NOT RECOMMENDED OF THIS VIDEO HOWWWWWWW I needed this THANK YOU :))
Can we isolate the simulation area and extend with a larger plane with ocean modifier? Matching both ocean noise patterns
That is not possible with blender but you can do that in Houdini
That's a good snow
can u share link for tutorial pls??? ㅎ3ㅎ
Bro where is the ocean modifier
My bad I forgot to put in the vid that the texture I used in the displacement modifier was an ocean modifier that I baked to a image sequence
@@sahrib3901what kind of map was it that you baked? A normal map?
system specs?
I have a Ryzen 5800x with 32gb of RAM and a 3080ti
@@sahrib3901 💀💀
Underrated animation so cool
This is incredible KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!
nice work, thanks! But, for my ocean modifier, I used big waves My result was nothing like the waves in my ocean modifier, just a bunch of garbage I don't know how to fix it...any ideas?
You can’t really use big waves for this method because it’s just displacing simulated mesh’s
Very interesting. Thank you. I will try this method.
What texture did you use for 6:18?
I used a ocean modifier and baked it out to a image sequence
thank you!!
impressive how u made that in 9 minutes
Tutorial please thank you for your hard work
formaldehyd
can you share the add on pls
It is the flip fluids add-on on blender market
Superb. Best I've seen.
wow very goog, can you make a tutorial for this ?
Needs sound, missed opportunity. Looks good regardless, great job.
Thaaaat mustve taken a hot minute to render
damn.. that's a beefy boat cutting through the sea without a single little bump..
1.5x feels alot more realistic
pretty good ngl
